Republicans Need To Decide If Protecting Trump Is Worth The Price Of Destroying Their Party

Trump is the only thing Republicans have going for them. Without him, the Democrats would likely hold the White House and both houses of Congress by significant majorities.

If the Republicans want to remain significant they need to move to the Right and actually govern/legislate from the Right. Anything else makes them nothing more than the lite version of the Democrat Party.
That and the need to stop being such a bunch of squishy pussies....The demoscum aren't interested in dealing with them if they can't be totally log rolled.

The stupid Obama lovers pretty well destroyed their party when they got their asses licked in 2010 and 2016 and lost over 1,000 national seats, didn't they?

Trump is the Republican Party. The new party has no use for rino’s, they should just register democrat and quit trying to pretend they are Republicans. The rino nevertrumpers just to just register as the New World Order party.

I think OP means flushing out RINO pieces of garbage who are really just tax and spend liberal fucks.

In the next two election cycles, the Senate map will flip from favorable to Republicans to strongly unfavorable, and with Democrats sweeping to victories at the state level, they soon won't have gerrymandering to protect them in the House that they just lost despite it. And as investigations that they can't stop further expose the depth and breadth of the corruption that is the defining feature of the Trump era, Republicans will have choices to make. Do they really want to continue to protect Trump? Is it worth it? They can't be expected to do the right thing for the right reasons, but political self-preservation does tend to motivate them. Will it, or do they want their political careers and their political party to go down in metaphorical flames that they themselves lit? We'll soon find out.

The President seem able to take care of himself. I am with him and don't have to defend him in any of his decisions. I do think he should have armed the Troops you know they are going to be shot at by the Cartel moving the drugs on the border.

Protecting Trump from what?
There is nothing there that they need to protect.
From this:

“This election was a referendum on Trump, and Trump failed. And in failing, Trump failed his Republican Party. And the Republican Party that has been Trump's protector, enabler, and lapdog failed at the polls because of its failure to stand up for democratic principles and basic human decency. And soon to be subject to legitimate congressional oversight, Trump is in deep trouble, and his next-level meltdown since the election suggests that he knows it. Even the supposed Republican consolation prize of having netted one or two Senate seats is much less than it seems, and is, in fact, yet another warning, particularly to those senators who will be up for re-election in two and four years.” ibid

And every American should look forward to January 2021, when we are finally rid of Trump.

That seems very ungrateful of the cartels, since they bought all of their weapons from us.

Clueless old white people think they're saving their party.

lol

I don't know if they are saving it. I do know that the left-wing has been talking about the end of the Republicans since 1992. Specifically, I remember being told the Republicans will never win an election again, in 1992. Yeah.... you people seem to say that a lot.

There is also the evangelical cult problem which the republicans have and that is firmly embedded.

LefTard Logic:
“Evangelicals are BAD for this country but tens of millions of low iQ, thirdworld wetbacks are GOOD.”
It's the evangelicals who are low IQ or at least low Emotional Intelligence...just like YOU

Haha...there you go following LefTard protocol perfectly.

“Evangelicals are bad because they won’t champion ass pounders and trannies. Wetbacks are great.”

Whats so fucking funny is the exact same thing was being said about the Democrats under Obama and they stuck by him and reelected him they will likely make Nancy Pelosi House speaker again despite the damage she did to the party last time she held that post. The same thing might happen to the Republicans under Trump that happended to the Democrats under Obama that though has more to do with the normal ebb and flow of politics than anything else.

Here we go again the left telling us we need to act like more like liberals. :itsok: Instead we'll just let Trump continue kicking the crap out of you and your liberal media fake news pals.
Kick the crap?? As in loosing 35 house seats?

A sitting president has a strong possibility of losing a legislative majority to the opposition party, the same as Presidents George W. Bush and Barrack Obama, and somehow it’s about Trump. Except, unlike those two predecessors, he was able to keep a stronger senate majority. Now, just like the last presidential election, liberals think they can put their hopes in polls. Some simply refuse to learn from the first time around. Shall we roll the clip of those poll results in 2016?
