Today, July 29, is the feat of Blessed Urban II, who died this date in 1099.

Urban realized the problem of Islamonazism rising in the late 11th Century and called the first Tremendous Crusade.

What modern libs don't realize is that the Holy Land was Christian before radical jihadi invaded the place. The Crusades called for by the urbane Urban were a counter offensive, not "bullying" at all.

As Urban made his case at Clermont, the people were impressed by the leader's demand for civility hollering "It is the will of Almighty God"

Speech at Clermont by Pope Urban II

I'd rather remember Alexander IV

Funny, at that time the Moslems were more civilized than the Christians.

No, they weren't. Not even close. The Muslim Golden Age myth is just that, a myth.

No, actually that was SOP for anybody who refused to surrender all over the planet for several millennia before and after. Jews did it to Christians, Hindus did it to each other, Muslims did it to everybody, Saladin loved to burn entire cities to the ground with the population still inside, he's one those mythical ' Enlightened' Islmao-vermin so widely praised, Genghis Khan didn't even bother to ask most of the time, and on and on and on. It helps to actually read histories rather than just slanted website synopses of fantasy stories that fabricate 'glorious pasts' for assorted scumbags and peoples.
