They will try to influence this election anyway they can.

Moore is just the tip of the derranged iceberg.

I just watched some of the MTV Movie Awards, of course there was Bush bashing, God it was sickening. Never seen so many empty heads in one room before.

This is what makes me so ashamed of my generation, we won't even hear Bush out, just believe whatever derranged socialist like Moore shouve down their throats.

THIS KIND OF SHIT REALLY PISSES ME OFF.

I swear you should have to take a test on this country's history and current events in order to be able to vote.

How much do you all think these pyschos will influence this election?

Fine with me.

The right began trying to discredit Clinton long before he even became a candidate for President. They were that afraid that he WOULD become President.

Ultimately, Clinton ended up doing quite a bit to damage his own reputation.

Likewise, Bush may be his own biggest downfall.

But, ultimately, money should not play a role in determining who we vote for. It continues to do so however.

none. i was watching a repeat of familiy ties (only saw the begining) and it had a segment on the 88 election. the parents of coarse were like dukus all the same and alex was like bush all the and then courtney cox came in a alexs parents said you are you voting for? we have lit on dukakus if you want it and alex said that they discussed it and it was bush all the way. then courtney takes off her jacket to reveal a dukaus shirt:eek: think the producers were dems? anyway we all know how it turned out in the end.

It does me too!! I won't watch any award shows. Actually, I've watched Friends since day 1, on the day of the season finale I heard on the radio that Lisa Kudrow said that after filming she was moving to France because she didn't want to raise her child in America as long as George Bush was President. I REFUSED to watch that last damn episode! She didn't mind raising her child in America with George Bush as President while she was getting them nice big fat checks because of us Americans watching her ass!!!! I can't stand people like this. If you want to go, GO, don't make yourself into some kind of martyr.

Sorry, I'm done, LOL! It just really bugs the hell out of me!

http://www.tvtome.com/FamilyTies/season7.html

159. Heartstrings (1)
gs: Margaret A. Marx (Young Elyse) Michael David Wright (Young Steven) Christina Pickles (Ruth Hobart) Philip Baker Hall (Dr. Harrison) Richard Kuss (Mr. Meyers) Carolyn Mignini (Peggy Vincent) Billy Morrissette (Waiter) Beaver-Leigh Banfield (Nurse)

The Keaton family unites in crisis when Steven suffers a serious heart attack.

While Alex and Andy discuss the upcoming Presidential race, Mallory and Jennifer prepare for another legendary shopping expedition. Moments later, Elyse returns home from jogging, but Steven lags behind, explaining that his run was slowed by a burning pain in his side. Steven dismisses the pain, assuming it was due to something he ate, while Alex kids him that the pain was caused by the guilt of being a Democrat.

Feeling much better the next day, Steven goes on a long bicycle ride. But when he returns home, he has difficulty breathing and collapses on the floor. After rushing Steven to the hospital, the family is stunned when Dr. Harrison tells them that Steven has suffered a heart attack and needs bypass surgery immediately.

In the waiting room, the Keatons befriend Ruth Hobart, the kind and encouraging wife of another heart patient, and the jocular Mr. Meyers. Before Steven is wheeled into surgery, he and Elyse share a few moments alone and express their deep love for each other. Although Dr. Harrison assures the family that Steven will be out of surgery in no time, the procedure drags on for hours. During the long operation, as Steven dreams of his early life with Elyse, Harrison becomes alarmed at an unexpected and dangerous development.

Doesnt matter to me what they say or do. I dont pay them for their political views. I pay them to entertain me cause thats all they are good for for the most part. So most of them should just shut up and act. Maybe wed have a decent movie out from time to time then.

They are out of touch. And they feel guilty for having succeeded.

:(

that sentence didn't confuse you a little?
Should I have said: Could you try a little harder to spell and punctuate correctly so that one can understand you?:p:

If I wanted to insult Lefty, I wouldn't have asked him if he were drunk.

Moore can get on my nerves too, but I hope you are not serious in wanting to limit who can vote. The potential for abuse in poll tests far outwiegh any benifit.

And as for how much the phsychos influence the election... Who knows. But at least they can try to do it as much as they want.

Money will cease to play a role in who we vote for at the point when all people have already made up their minds. Money is use to buy time to convince people to vote a certain way. It is political speech that is really effecting how people vote, and that is a good thing. The fact that people use money to buy a bigger audience for their polical speech is just an economic reality.

All the laws the government has made trying to restrict this speech has led to incumbents being able to keep their seat easier because they already have a large audience where as it has become more and more expensive to buy an audience for the challengers with each new restriction the government passes.

The laws have also lead to an increase in influence of major media corporations. In the past they were countered by lots of money, but that is becoming less and less the case.

Government should get rid of all laws restricting speech. Especially political speech.

and with this 'test', would you then disqualify anyone with radical or leftist views?

:D Im wondering if the right realizes that their constant attempt to squash opposing views and debate is unamerican.
