No matter how good that might sound or how satisfying that might be, it doesn't work.

We have too many fucking holidays.

There are 11 federal holidays out of 365 days in a year.

Hardly excessive.

Everyday is a holiday when you work for the government. I did a ~1-year contract for the government one year and got to see the "work ethic" first hand. If you were standing at the exit door at 4:30 p.m., you'd get run over. And those 2-3 hour lunches were brutal.
