The thinking of liberal moonbats is that if you are black you would automatically vote for democrats. That is racist thinking and that is why liberals are racist. I suspect that it would take more than just offering the handouts. We've heard campaign promises that never get followed through with, by both parties, for far too long. The Democrats have a well known reputation of offering handouts and freebies. It would take quite a history of Republicans out doing Democrats in that realm for things to change.

People are not going to just start voting Republican because the Republicans promise "handouts and freebies for votes".

Hitler and Lenin? I guess people are getting tired of unoriginal and bland Hitler insults.

Although the whole linking them all together and highlighting the apparent 'socialism' of them all shows a grave misunderstanding of all of their policies, especially considering that leftists (socialists included) were among the first victims of the Holocaust. It's also a little bit ironic that the billboard points out radical leaders used people's nativity and fearful, when we were threatened with WMDs earlier this decade and terrorism, and rumors of 'death panels' sometime last year. The greatest irony is, of course, the fact that the billboard itself is appealing to the fearful and naive, by tying Obama with Lenin and Hitler, which is a gross generalization to make in and of itself.

I really hoped after all the stupid 'Bush=Hitler' crap, when the other side became the minority they would have the decency to rise above such idiotic insults. Guess I was wrong.

I strongly disagree. I think it must be a case-by-case discussion. Comparing Bush or Obama to Hitler is unfair, as neither have come anywhere near the evil of that man.

However, to blanketly state we can never compare any president to evil tyrants of the past is a dangerous mistake, imo, because we then assume no one could ever be as evil as Hitler again, and open the door for that type of tyrant to rise again. We can never forget the evil he brought, or the evil that Stalin, Che, Lenin, Pol Pot, etc, brought. And anytime we see a leader showing the same tendencies and following a similar path, we would be irresponsible not to note similarities and be cautious.

Because the big goverment model can go the way of Norway, Sweden, Greece.........or Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Only circumstances and minds make the difference.
