The rightwing/Republican media narrative that there is a "war on cops" doesn't pass the sniff test - in fact...

Intentional police officer deaths on President Obama's watch are at historic lows.

D. Trump in conjunction with the right wing media are pushing the treasonous Richard Nixon's 'be afraid, be very-very afraid' strategy.

Police fatalities fall under Obama

<snip>

simplistic and inflammatory notion of a "war on cops" is completely undercut by one fundamental data point: Intentional attacks on police officers are at historically low levels under President Obama.

Data from the Officers Down Memorial Page, which tracks law enforcement officer fatalities in real time, illustrates the point. During the Reagan years, for instance, an average of 101 police officers were intentionally killed each year. Under George H.W. Bush that number fell to 90. It fell further, to 81 deaths per year, under Bill Clinton, and to 72 deaths per year under George W. Bush.

Under Obama, the average number of police intentionally killed each year has fallen to its lowest level yet — an average of 62 deaths annually through 2015. If you include the 2016 police officer shootings year-to-date and project it out to a full year, that average of 62 deaths doesn't change.

Riddle me this batman....how can there be only 62 fatalities under obummers watch when in 2014 ALONE there were 126 killed? Hmmm? The problem with moronic propagandists like you is you post up such obvious, stupid lies that anyone can rip them to shreds as I just did. Now piss off propagandist. You're an embarrassment.

Report: Number Of Police Officers Killed Spikes In 2014

They are slightly lower for Obama, but it's going in the wrong direction and his lack of leadership isn't helping.

Even if this weren't totally false, name one policy Obama specifically passed that could have even caused this to happen. If anything, he's been outright encouraging a war on police.

Much like the bogus claims that he's brought us out of a recession, despite fighting tooth and nail against our recovering economy, he's given credit for things that happened while he was in office, despite the fact he was either sitting on his hands while it happened(Or Golfing), or working against it entirely.

No, the murder of police officers is going down. Just as your link is showing a definitive though slower decline due to that your stats are about Police Officers dying on the job which would include things like auto and other accidents.

Perhaps it's the average, you know, if 32 were killed in 2013 and 126 killed in 2014 that's an average for those two years of 79. If they were low at the beginning then you have your average.

Neither are you, or the rest of the propagandists here. When presented with real facts you run and hide, or claim they are not real. The facts are that police fatalities had been dropping year on year for a while. Now they are increasing, and the claim that for the duration of obummers reign there had been only 62 cops killed is fucking ridiculous.

I did silly boy, and they are crap numbers. 2014 is loooong after 9/11 and in that year alone there were more cops killed by gunfire than the article claims for his entire reign. Learn to read nitwit.
