The difference is there was evidence that something was up with Benghazi; the immediate lying about why it happened for one. Then there was the question about security, the concern of the Ambassador, many things.

There is nothing in this phony Russia investigation. Some drunk at a bar shot off his mouth in London and a Clinton campaign donor (to the tune of 25 million dollars) ran to the FBI with it. That's it. Nothing more.

It's totally un-American to start an investigation with zero evidence yet alone allow it to stretch nearly a year and a half.

It's not pity they deserve. Presidents have always had fubars. JFK knew he'd have to contend with the Bay of Pigs, and he thought he'd be running for re-election. LBJ tried like hell to end Vietnam before he left office. Truman? His admin's lack of experience in the far east ushered in Korea, and 40K dead guys who had survived WWII. Benghazi sort of paled in comparison. I think Obama's lack of diligence directly led to the muslim migration to Europe.

But none of that involves a possible conspiracy with an enemy. That's what Benedict Arnold did, and that bore directly on the Founders drafting the impeachment process. Arnold was actually a very brave patriot who gave his health and home for the Revolution. But in the end he compromised himself. Trump may have as well.
