Paul Ryan is the VP pick

Obama victory party at my house. This is in the bag. Ryan's budget is going to be the focus now.

So the fact that the democrats haven't passed one in, Oh about 4 years, shouldn't be the focus?
Ryan will eat Biden's lunch in a debate, Obama's too if they had one.

Romney for Vice President!

Didn't we hear all this talk at midterms?

Doubtful. Leadership and rank-and-file alike didn't run on Ryan's slash-and-burn budget during the election, they sprung it afterwards. Cat's out of the bag this time around.

August 2, 2010:
Representative John A. Boehner, Republican of Ohio, the minority leader, has praised Mr. Ryan but said the Roadmap would not be a part of the Republican agenda this fall.

“There are parts of it that are well done,” Mr. Boehner told reporters last month. “Other parts I have some doubts about, in terms of how good the policy is.”

In fact, only 13 House Republicans have signed on as co-sponsors, and Republican leaders, hoping for gains in the fall and, ultimately, in 2012, seem concerned at the possibility that the Roadmap may eventually become something candidates will be forced to take a position on. After all, what candidate wants to talk about major changes to Medicare and Social Security?

Umm isn't it the republican controlled houses job to pass a budget?

Psst! The Senate has to do their job too. Who runs that right now?

BOSTON — Mitt Romney will make the long-awaited announcement Saturday of his running mate in the presidential race, with signs pointing to Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as the pick

The Washington Post was not able to immediately confirm that Ryan was the definite choice, but a knowledgeable Republican said all indications were that the seven-term congressman would be the vice-presidential nominee. One clue was the venue chosen for the announcement, the USS Wisconsin in Norfolk, Va.

NBC News, citing multiple sources, reported early Saturday that Ryan, the chairman of the House Budget Committee and the architect of the Republican budget blueprint, would be Romney’s running mate.

The Dems killed the Republicans in New York state running against the Ryan budget.

Florida just went to Obama.

Did you even bother to read the Ryan budget, and try to rub two synapses together. That's what our president had to work with. Ryan is like one of those little clowns coming out of a VW original.

Real clear politics had Obama at 247 votes. Getting Florida takes him over 270. He wouldn't even need Ohio.

Ummmmm.....yes, it is

And the House passed theirs. Guess you missed that, huh??

Harry Reid buried it along with all the House jobs bills that they'd passed.

You DO know that to become law, both the house AND the Senate have to pass it.
