They were showing us the pictures. And thousands of those are refrigerated because of perishables and medicine with each one using it's own generator. It takes 4,000 gallons of fuel a day to run them all.
Talk about poor organization. They have no way to get the supplies to the people. And they say more ships won't do any good because of the blockage.
This is probably the most poorly organized "rescue" mission in history. It's like the Keystone Cops are running things. If Hillary or Obama were president, the Air Force, the Army and the National Guard would have every helicopter there to move supplies, transport road crews and airlift people to safety.
The disaster here is going to be enormous. Many more dying than the number that died because of the storm itself. Just like after Katrina, when the GOP held the presidency and both houses. America just doesn't seem to learn or even want to learn.
