Over 9,500 storage containers filled with supplies block the port in Puerto Rico

They were showing us the pictures. And thousands of those are refrigerated because of perishables and medicine with each one using it's own generator. It takes 4,000 gallons of fuel a day to run them all.

Talk about poor organization. They have no way to get the supplies to the people. And they say more ships won't do any good because of the blockage.

This is probably the most poorly organized "rescue" mission in history. It's like the Keystone Cops are running things. If Hillary or Obama were president, the Air Force, the Army and the National Guard would have every helicopter there to move supplies, transport road crews and airlift people to safety.

The disaster here is going to be enormous. Many more dying than the number that died because of the storm itself. Just like after Katrina, when the GOP held the presidency and both houses. America just doesn't seem to learn or even want to learn.

So how did Obama's "rescue" mission at Benghazi work out?

How to spot a sociopath - 10 red flags that could save you from being swept under the influence of a charismatic nut job
#3) Sociopaths are incapable of feeling shame, guilt or remorse. Their brains simply lack the circuitry to process such emotions. This allows them to betray people, threaten people or harm people without giving it a second thought. They pursue any action that serves their own self interest even if it seriously harms others.
At this point, what difference does it make that an Ambassador of the US and 3 other US citizens died that day.....

If you are that concerned Deanie boy.

Why don't you use some of your vacation days and take off work to go there and help.

I'm sure there are numerous relief agencies willing to put volunteers like you to work unloading the ships and delivering supplies. ....

Notice dean complains about how it's being done yet does nothing to make it better.

If Obama was president, and the exact was going on, ole Dean would be praising him.

You mean while people are dying in Puerto Rico, Obama would be Tweeting about the NFL?
I can't imagine Obama doing something like that.
Besides, when people were dying after Katrina, Bush had a birthday party to go to. Good job Brownie.
And while people are dying in Puerto Rico, Trump is working on a tax plan that would save his family money. Smart. Typical GOP.

What have you done?

Have you donated blood?

How about money for food?

Are you planning to take time off and work in the PR to help rebuild the area and if not Why?

Let me guess your job to you is to sit, whine and do nothing...

He SAID he cared. To a bleeding heart Liberal, that's all that matters. When someone else does the work, he takes credit for having THOUGHT it should be done.

And look at what Republicans here at the USMB are posting on this thread.

Yea, those evil Republicans caused the hurricane. .... :cuckoo: ...

And other ridiculous bullshit.

I'm no disaster expert, but even I know what needed to happen.

Look at post #21 and #27.

Trump should grab that Lt. General the way Bush did after it was discovered Bush was an inept ass white who had no idea what he was supposed to do and turn everything over to General Honore.

This is going to be a way bigger disaster than after the Katrina fiasco. Many, many more are going to die from disease and starvation. The GOP will have to explain that after first Katrina and now after this Hurricane. Republicans are inept. They are awful. All they can do is steal and redistribute the wealth, upward.

Well I find it strange that the locals here in Texas came together and worked together along with the Cajun Navy and got shit done!

Are you telling me during the day those people in the PR can not clean up the roads and landing strips to get shit moved from point A to point B?

Are you telling me that you need someone to tell you to get off your lazy ass and help?

As for Katrina I find it strange how you put all the blame on Bush while forgetting the Governor and Mayor failure before, during and after the storm.

The Governor and Mayor should have done more but of course they were Democrats, so you forgave them even when Blanco biggest concern was what color shoes she should wear for her press conference after the storm.

Also you want to make this into a race issue and how Trump hate minorities but see that will also fail seeing Texas is Minority-Majority and funny how the region that got hit is recovering and people of all races are working together.

Finally, were you not one of those that wrote about how Texas should be denied Federal Aid?

If so why do you care about the PR?

That's right they're Democratic voters, so now you care but when Harvey was drowning Houston ( a Democratic voting bloc ) you pissed all over those people and now you want those like me to care for the PR.

So get your ass off the internet and do something and if not fuck off!

Yeah, well during Harvey I was cleaning ditches to keep water flowing, feeding the community I live in, worked as a medic and driver, so the OP'er need to put up or shut the fuck up for once.

The OP'er is playing the damn race card like the silly kunt does daily...

All show....No go ..... :cuckoo:

Wonder why he hasn't gone to PR if he thinks he can do better?
They just reported that there are now 10,000 Containers stacked around the harbor. They have no place else to put them. And they use 4,000 gallons of fuel a day keeping medicine and food from rotting.

We have the most expensive military in the world. Where are they? If their job is to protect Americans, then protect Americans living in Puerto Rico. Get some planes and helicopters there.

But seriously, if Trump stiffed his own workers, why would he care about Puerto Ricans?
Tell me, where are the planes going to land Einstein?
Planes land all kinds of places. Some land on water. Others have these things called "wheels". They only need a smooth "landing strip". It just has to be long enough. Then there's helicopters and air drops. Or are you saying Republicans don't understand these things?
Yes land a plane after everything is destroyed on the island. Nice try though.

Seems to me that the liberal governor is the one to blame. Isnt he in charge of that island? Yes he is. Now it will be those who work for President who will come in and organize the situation as a business leader should.

If Hillary would be president , she would be asking for donations for her(I just threw up) Charity, and while stealing most of that money, then give a pittance to those in need. Haiti anyone?

Dear Repubtard,

3.5 million US citizens have been dying in Puerto Rico for 24 days now, and Trumptards freaking out about someone not saluting the flag. 10,000 containers full of life saving fuel, equipment & supplies stacked up at Puerto Rico's ports & Trump thinks waving the Jones Act weeks later will fix it.

It's been 24 days since Trump declared Puerto Rico is in a state of emergency and still his administration has failed to get dozers, trucks, transport dollies, aircraft carriers, & helicopters in position to distribute those supplies. The US military doesn't need any infrastructure to operate. He also failed to evacuate those trying to flee. Where are the cruise ships & aircraft to whisk people out of there? The NFL donating week 4 proceeds to Puerto Rico. But Trump kicked Puerto Rico while they were dying, tweeting "they owe Wallstreet money" so screw'em.

The US government military should have figured out local government was overwhelmed by the 3rd day & took over. Now 24 days later it's to late for many who have died & will soon die from that Trump administration failure.

Hey libfuck, are you there helping out Puerto Rico people or are you a typical liberal who bitches and moans, but does nothing to alleviate the suffering of others?

While mature, intelligent people are working on the real-time logistics of getting aid to people, it is good to see an army of concerned citizens (and other assorted people) working hard at assessing blame.

the news on nbc that i was watching said there 16 navel ships there unloading and they showed them unloading....try another channel dean maybe you will see a different story.....they said nothing about stuff being stuck there....
You have no idea what you are talking about. Can't you be anything other than a dipshit? Seriously, if you want to prove you're ignorant, we get it. You're ignorant.
its not me talking dumbass its the NBC news station...and when are you going to be anything but a dipshit?..and you have proven may a time here that your not too bright yourself dean.....you are also pretty dishonest and extremely biased and very racial....that means you are not only a dipshit but a racist dipshit, which is maybe the worst kind....

It's ironic that Trump also brought up a reason why foreign aid could not be brought in, because of some act from 1920, but in Texas they completely ignored this act.

Dean is nothing but a partisan hack. He doesn't give a shit about the people of Puerto Rico. They are just inferior brown people to him who are to be used as political pawns.

he is not only a hack he is a dishonest racist one....

Well, if there were a decent president in office, there wouldn't be any blame to assess.

A three star general is either on his way or is already in Puerto Rico to take total charge of the relief effort for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

Well, if there were a decent president in office, there wouldn't be any blame to assess.

This problem took decades to manifest itself through both democrat and republican administrations and a do-nothing congress, in order to achieve this catastrophe. It also has the fingerprints of banks and wall street, all over it.

Tell that to people who went through Sandy. Remember the flak Christie took for working with Obama.

Republicans don't care about those people. Read the posts on this thread. These people are monsters.

Hospitals are out of tetanus, saline, antibiotics, water and more.

The military could be doing air drips with paratroopers all over the island.
