Over 9,500 storage containers filled with supplies block the port in Puerto Rico

Notice dean complains about how it's being done yet does nothing to make it better.
He is a typical liberal Democrat.

All show....No go ..... :cuckoo:

Wonder why he hasn't gone to PR if he thinks he can do better?
They just reported that there are now 10,000 Containers stacked around the harbor. They have no place else to put them. And they use 4,000 gallons of fuel a day keeping medicine and food from rotting.

We have the most expensive military in the world. Where are they? If their job is to protect Americans, then protect Americans living in Puerto Rico. Get some planes and helicopters there.

But seriously, if Trump stiffed his own workers, why would he care about Puerto Ricans?

/----/ you are pathetic. If Hildabeast had won, she'd be facing the same issues and you'd be defending her.

They were showing us the pictures. And thousands of those are refrigerated because of perishables and medicine with each one using it's own generator. It takes 4,000 gallons of fuel a day to run them all.

Talk about poor organization. They have no way to get the supplies to the people. And they say more ships won't do any good because of the blockage.

This is probably the most poorly organized "rescue" mission in history. It's like the Keystone Cops are running things. If Hillary or Obama were president, the Air Force, the Army and the National Guard would have every helicopter there to move supplies, transport road crews and airlift people to safety.

The disaster here is going to be enormous. Many more dying than the number that died because of the storm itself. Just like after Katrina, when the GOP held the presidency and both houses. America just doesn't seem to learn or even want to learn.

If you are that concerned Deanie boy.

Why don't you use some of your vacation days and take off work to go there and help.

I'm sure there are numerous relief agencies willing to put volunteers like you to work unloading the ships and delivering supplies. ....

Notice dean complains about how it's being done yet does nothing to make it better.

If Obama was president, and the exact was going on, ole Dean would be praising him.

You mean while people are dying in Puerto Rico, Obama would be Tweeting about the NFL?
I can't imagine Obama doing something like that.
Besides, when people were dying after Katrina, Bush had a birthday party to go to. Good job Brownie.
And while people are dying in Puerto Rico, Trump is working on a tax plan that would save his family money. Smart. Typical GOP.

Why aren't you in PR yet?

Obama would tell us people who are against the protesters. As Americans, this isn't who we are.

Waiting for the plane that dropped you off in Moscow.

You'll be waiting since there is no such plane. Guess you'll use that as an excuse for not doing what you think you can do better.

Seems to me that the liberal governor is the one to blame. Isnt he in charge of that island? Yes he is. Now it will be those who work for President who will come in and organize the situation as a business leader should.

If Hillary would be president , she would be asking for donations for her(I just threw up) Charity, and while stealing most of that money, then give a pittance to those in need. Haiti anyone?

You can never prove Clinton stole from Haiti because the guy who was going to testify about that died of suicide, supposedly.

The ports are destroyed. But democrats will lie about that too.

Is there anything democrats won't lie about?
No, the Democrats lie about everything.

They even lie and say unborn babies aren't really babies, but are "masses of tissue" that are OK to destroy.

I've been hearing last night and this a.m. that they can't find drivers to move the stuff where it needs to go. Drivers just aren't showing up. Probably because they haven't got gas to get there or they haven't got a phone to find out when to show up or they haven't eaten or showered in days and they're too fucking miserable to bother. Or they're not leaving their homes unprotected from looters.
I hear the military IS coming in. They'll get things rolling, I hope.

In more good news, Trump waived The Jones act:

The Trump administration announced Thursday that it will waive federal restrictions on foreign ships' transportation of cargo to hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted Thursday that President Donald Trump has "authorized the Jones Act be waived for Puerto Rico." She says Trump is responding to a request from the governor, and it will go into effect immediately.

The Jones Act is a nearly 100-year-old law that says only American-made ships with U.S. owners and crew may ship goods between U.S. ports.

Bipartisan members of Congress pressured Trump to waive the Jones Act, saying it could help get desperately needed supplies delivered to the island more quickly and at less cost.

Later Thursday, Republican senators John McCain of Arizona and Mike Lee of Utah introduced legislation that would permanently remove Puerto Rico from the law.

The move comes after the administration was criticized for a subpar response to the deepening humanitarian crisis on the island, home to 3.5 million Americans.

I don't have to prove anything, just look at the Poor Haitians that were supposed to get the funding. You know "black people".

Trump inherited a fully stocked and fully staffed FEMA from Obama. See "Sandy".

But Puerto Rico is different. With that, Trump and the GOP were on their own. And we know Republicans are crap at actually governing. Too corrupt, too disorganized and no clue. Worse, they just don't care.

So here we have an unfolding tragedy that will dwarf anything we have seen in the United States in generations.
