Then we had a tobacco lawsuit, we found out that's what they were doing.

They paid a shitload of money and stopped their bad practices, and guess what happened.

Now, you have the Gun Industry, which markets according to fear. They create that fear by also making it pretty darned easy for the bad guys to get guns, so that element of the society that is gun-nutty wants more guns. So they feel safe.

If you made it harder for crooks and crazy people to get guns, gun sales would decline. ANd we just can't have that.

Enough of your lies. The NRA sponsored a bill that would make a minimum 5 year sentence in prison for anyone caught using a firearm in a crime. Democrats killed it.
