There seems to be a lot of confusion, not to mention some wilful ignorance about the nature of God.

Many Christians believe in the Trinity and that Jesus was God incarnate.

Some even point to the Trinity and state that Christians worship three Gods.

Nothing could be further from the truth. For example, look at a chicken egg. It has three separate parts. The yolk, the egg white, and the shell. So, which one of those parts is NOT the egg. They all are.

It's the same with God. One God, three persons, all sharing the essence of God. All equal. One God. But three in nature.

Get it now?

horse hooey.

A yolk is not an egg, the white is not an egg, a shell is not an egg. Only an egg is an egg.

God is not divisible and cannot be defined or limited by any number of given attributes.

If there is only one God then there is no other god in existence either equal to, above or below him.

Aside from that irrefutable fact, there never was a human being that was God or became God either before, during or after their human existence.

They are one part of the same.

Like I said, God is not divisible and cannot be defined or limited by any number of given attributes.

To say that God can be divisible into three equal parts is to create a false image of a god that does not correspond to any real living being ever in existence.

If you like to think of God in terms of multiple numbers, you would end up with a more accurate idea about God if you added up all the things that he is not.

Its a matter of logic and reasoning.

If there is only one God then there is no other god in existence either equal to, above, or below him..

God is not comparable to an egg.

duh.

If you had an eggshell, would you call it an egg? Nope, it is the eggshell. Same with yolk and white. Not a very good analogy, I think.

Also, I feel like the best way to respond to this thread's title is like this....

....two god, red god, blue god.

Jews believe in the One true God = monotheism

Muslims believe in the One true God = monotheism

Christians believe in 3 gods in 1 triune = polytheism

you are entitled to your idiotic opinion. Even the rapist pig of Mecca had an "OPINION"

No. Christians believe in one God.

Wrong. Christians believe in ONE God. The One God is triune. You're not getting it. If they were three gods, they could each do their own thing.

Anyone who professes a belief that Jesus was 1/3 yet fully God is at best confused.

No. Christians believe in one God.
Christians worship a man whom they claim is God, along with God and the holy spirit.

Then with a straight face, say that all 3 entities together equal the One true God of the Old Testament. .....

I agree that is about as irrational of a belief as your belief that the same God of the Old Testament would chose a mentally ill child rapist and serial killer as the greatest prophet of all and perfect example of a holy life..

What makes you believe that an all powerful God cannot exist as three persons? The fact is that Jesus claimed equality with God. He was there when the universe was created. "All things were created by Him (JESUS) and for Him. And without Him was not anything made that was made." Why is this so difficult for you to understand?
