Now what is frightening is the similarity of this with 1936,1938. Germany was condemned loudly for her actions as well BUT no one did anything so Germany got braver and Braver and ended up starting WW2.

Umm....but we do know what's next. Putin's getting the band back together. A reconstitution of the Soviet Empire, but this time under a more Fascist regime instead of a Communist one.

What I want to know are where are the Liberals on this board? What are you thinking? How many countries will you allow Russia to plunder until you think it is your business? All of the old Soviet Union? All of the old Warsaw Pact countries? All of Europe? All the way until the landing craft are off New York Harbor? Where is your line or is there one?

at worst, he takes back the desireable lands to reform the Soviet Union.....the Baltics are out of the question since they are in NATO....

there might be a play on the Central Asian republics with the natural gas & oil fields there.....

no chance of moving westward beyond old Soviet borders.....
