The insurance companies...excuse me...the republican party is now in full panic mode. They have a little over a month to try the same fear mongering tactics they used to kill healthcare under Clinton.
Initially labeling the well being of american citizens as "socialism", they now revert to the scare tactics on the uninformed.

If the government is so inept at everything they do, why are the insurance companies so afraid to compete with them?

Reading further after a grace period if a plan is considered "not qualified" then the comissioner or then they cease to become healthcare plans. In other words. they are no longer covered and must find another plan, and a whole lot of cases that means another Doctor. So your assertions are not correct. This bill has but one aim and that is to establish a "govt. plan" that eventually end up leading to Single payer universale healthcare circumnavigating the constitution. Nowadays, "American made" is essentially meaningless and many foreign owned companies have plants in America providing American jobs and using American labor. In addition, it appears to have been so lucrative for the dealers it has run out of money. How is that not successful?

- No multi-millon $$ CEO salaries
- No advertising budget
- No $$$ to pay off lobbyists
