1. There is no right to an abortion enumerated in the Constitution or the 9th Amendment, PERIOD. There is a right to "LIFE, Liberty, yadda yadda". The USSC decides what the Constitution means, not you.
2. State courts do NOT have a say in Federal elections. The Constitution gives that right only to the state legislatures, period.
3. Is a national legislature a state legislature? NO. DUH.

Trump represented not an alternative to our ruling class but an alternative to sanity. Trump running as Republican leader always had a substantial degree of support (political and financial) from significant ruling class elements, and only his stupidity, manifest instability, and his inability to delegate and hold a governing team together eventually led most to oppose him.

Future more cunning populist demagogues can be backed by far larger sections of our ruling classes. “The ruling class” is a misnomer. Our rulers are not by any means a united or homogeneous force, nor are they wedded to democracy. The oligarchy of big money capitalists and the “security state” itself can absolutely be won over to a thoroughly “illiberal” movement like MAGA under a “bonapartist” leader, especially if economic and social conditions worsen dramatically, global decoupling devastates world trade, or civil war or secession threatens.
