There's a difference between using a teleprompter and being dependent on a teleprompter.
You know liberals crucified Palin for not being nuanced, and it's funny how they never get that as well. Candy is pathetic, but all liberals are blind.
Not being "nuanced"...not being informed about anything is more like it. The debates are meaningless unless you want to see 90 minutes of campaign commercials.
The day after each one will see this...40% will say X won, 40% will say Y won, 10% will call it even and the other 10% will say either X or Y edged out a victory.
You watch too much TV; and it shows.
Sometimes true. Sometimes not.
When Reagan tweaked the shit out of Mondale ("there you go again"), Reagan didn't just win to some folks, he won, period. Hands down. He won the debate and maybe the election in the process.
When Ford spoke about how Poland was not a communist country and never would be during a Ford Administration (while Poland was still a full fledged communist country) he not only lost that debate, he may have handed the election to the schmuck, Carter.
The President will do his homework. And he's not nearly as much of a gaffe machine as Biden.
The immoderate debate moderators will absolutely pander to the President, and the questions WILL be nuanced and biased. But the odds are pretty good that outside of spouting dishonest liberal Democrat talking points, the President will find several ways to fuck up his side of the debates.
Yes. Even with the liberal "moderators" staining to provide him with home field advantage, the TOTUS-lacking incumbent is gonna "uhm," "...err" and "ahh" his way to proving what a light weight drone he is.
