The president is still scheduled to start a Western campaign swing Wednesday night, with a rally here in Las Vegas and another in Colorado on Thursday.

Mr. Obama’s aides indicated that he would have reconsidered his trip had the violence in Libya and Egypt spilled into a second day in a major way. But with any follow-up protests remaining relatively modest, the president will monitor events from Air Force One as he makes his way here, aides said.

Protests have spread to Yemen and Tunisia. It's just modest, no reason to be concerned. He has his priorities in order. Only four Americans killed so far, no reason to overreact.

If he cancelled his campaign stops you'd be whining that's its a sign of weakness and that he's letting the terrorists get their way.

He is so smart he already knows what happened and what he has to do so why not fly off to Los Vegas. If he can effect the amount of water in the ocean, hell this little uprising and turbulence is trivial. It is only us pion's of lesser gifts that think that a president should be sitting with anyone who could help evaluate this situation and come up with a plan of attack are just not as capable as him.

He proved that you do not need to be in DC by spending most of his time out campaigning, golfing or partying with Hollywood types. Why meed with his own job council, or cabinet. or security briefings. That is all for losers who need to gather information to know what is going on. Obama does not need any of that because he knows what is going on without having to hear a thing from anyone. He is the all knowing and all powerful. oops maybe that was the the wizard of Oz. But hell Obama is better than that and we just need to give him more time to fix the things he said he would fix four years ago but this next four years he really and truly will have everything working great.
