George Soros is one of the richest men in the world, got that way by international money trading, building enough wealth where he could cause prices to dip if he sold and rise if he bought. He's also a rabid liberal-socialist. Using this power he nearly bankrupted several small countries. Although impossible to prove, many believe he is responsible for about 1/2 of the money that Obama raised in his campaign. Back in November, just before the election, there was a run on US banks, something to the tune of 500 billion dollars was taken out in a few hours, and many suspect it was Soros and some Middle East guys. This caused the current recession and of course an extreme lack of confidence in the then administration, thus inflating Obama's popularity.

Many reasons--Jealosy is a main one--many countries hate that we
wish to be free.. Remember we had to fight to become free.And then we hade to fight each other to free our own people (civil war).

No President nor political party that I am aware has successfully negotiated our way out of a depression or recession. I mean, I hear you in regard to Obama, but it isn't like McCain would have done better.

The government cannot indefinitely prop up economic failures. Look at AIG ... already back at the table begging for more. As I keep asking, in 6 months when they're ALL back, what then? Another multi-trillion, pork-laden "stimulus" package?

They made bad investments. If I make a bad a investment, Congress doesn't bail ME out. Nor you.

You can't blame this on Republicans OR Democrats singly. BOTH are guilty as Hell at selling out to lobbies. One side just tries to pass off that it doesn't.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said, "The work begins today in Montgomery County, Maryland, where a work crew is starting on a project to resurface Maryland State Highway 650 -- a very busy road that has not been fully repaired in 17 years."

The resurfacing contract is going to a Pennsylvania-based family-owned company, America Infrastructure, LaHood said.

He said the project will support 60 jobs. "And that's how we're going to get the country back on its feet," LaHood added.

598, 000 jobs lost in January. 19,290 jobs per day. BO was sworn in on the 19th so we'll figure 250,770 people lost their jobs AFTER BO was inagurated.

648,000 jobs lost in January.

1,246,000 jobs lost since BO took office.

Actually, it started WAY before Bush, and THAT is the fact. It got staved off once at the end of the Clinton Administration. Both sides have been equally guilty of borrowing to push back the end-date.

Both Bush and Obama deserve criticism for their actions to push the debt off lending money they didn't/don't have. Neither are solely to blame for the problem itself.

I'm not looking for proof that they were unemployed, but I'd love to know if they were U.S. citizens. Seems like the Senate took E-Verify OUT of the stimulus ( spending ) bill.
