I would say something here but I'm not sure I'm allowed to.

Similar, I guess, but I must say something here. Counter-intuitive though it may be, I'm not looking forward to the 'Bama girls on this board, and the others involved in the slobbering menage-a-myriad, going down in flames.

I won't be enjoying their misery, nor the President's either. No, I did not support him, nor do I endorse his left-wing policies, but it's my country that he is leading.

Every day I watch the Dow, wonder at the ideology in place of efficacy, and a seemingly accelerating downward spin, and I fear for the future. Rasmussen says that he may be the first President to end his 100 Days with a lower popularity than the start. Just today, the United States going to Russia hat in hand????

I hear from friends who have lost jobs, lost potential careers, etc. and I must say: I want him to do the things that bring us out of the tunnel. If I can mix metaphors, we're in this boat together.

So how's that other political tracking poll working out for him? You know, the one we call the Dow/Jones? Last I looked that was gyrating down about 3000 points ( give or take a couple hundred ) since Obama's election.

Speaking of asholes--the lefties are doing there level best to destroy the stock market they are happy that capitalism will fail. Whats left , socialism (maybe commies here) They do not have what it takes to compete in the open market

Nearly 6.5 million people unemployed and he has the cojones to brag about the 60 jobs that were created today:

(CNN) -- President Obama said Tuesday that the country already is "seeing shovels hit the ground" on the first infrastructure repair project funded through the Transportation Department's share of the $787 billion stimulus bill.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said, "The work begins today in Montgomery County, Maryland, where a work crew is starting on a project to resurface Maryland State Highway 650 -- a very busy road that has not been fully repaired in 17 years."

The resurfacing contract is going to a Pennsylvania-based family-owned company, America Infrastructure, LaHood said.

He said the project will support 60 jobs. "And that's how we're going to get the country back on its feet," LaHood added.

The economic agitation is growing as Obama appears to shrug at the loss of 3 trillion dollars of private wealth since winning the election with his public dismissal of the Wall Street decline.

And to put into some historical perspective, Carter's approval rating was higher than Obama's at this point in their respective terms - 71%. Obama's current approval rate is quite similar to that of Nixon, Bush I and Bush II.

The ground upon which Obama stands is based upon continued unmitigated support by the media. As that begins to decline, so too will his approval numbers. As middle America agitation rises, so too will the demands on Obama to maintain his popularity - a task he will most likely be unable to maintain.

I just talked with my neighbor, and he lost $48K in his 401k in January. That's one month.
