Small pox blankets = Abu Ghraib of the 19th century. A few unscrupulous characters resort to such crap and with partisan revision it suddenly was the norm.

There are more than a few reasons native Americans lost their land -- many of those reasons their own doing.

If we ever lose to Islam, that too will be by our own hands. It is within our power to stop it, but we won't do what it takes to make that happen.

Some sources have no credibility. That's not censorship. It's additional information about a source. You don't have to believe it if you don't want to. Are you some sort of comedian?

no Im not a comedian.......and yes I have other interests beside doonesbury.porn and violence, in fact none of those three really concern me much at all, I did mention Abu Ghraib which does concern me.....anyway I find it interesting that there seems to be a growing antagonism toward Israel and the obvious role they hold in the problems we are having in the region. I find that a shift in thinking, not very long ago any voice against Israel was considered to be anti semetic and very non pc. So I am surprised at some of the posts in this thread.

It isn't anti-semitic -- it's stupid. But it IS nothing short of amazing. Back when people could think, Israel was a democracy and murdering scumbag Arabs calling themselves "Palestinians" were terrorists/murderers. Then one of you genius left wingnuts went and gave Arafat, the grandaddy of all modern terrorists, a Nobel Peace prize no less.

I guess I have given up.....when a previous thread on censorship of a certain video game brought up some game that awarded bonus points for "killing the prostitute quickly, rather than paying her" I just about lost my sense that any decency or "good taste" will ever prevail. I tolerate some violence in movies, sex is okay but hard core porn is just too overdone, usually totally out of context, I think censorship crosses more boundaries than a lot of issues. I dont think you can blame or accuse liberals or conservatives.....it is an element of each. Jeez, if you dont want to it in your life or your kids life take measures to avoid it. It is suppose to be a free society, so you gotta tolerate some stuff you dont like......or sacrifice our freedoms.

This could be its own topic. I hardly am one to agree with blind, one-size-fits-all hatred. I see little difference between what WJ, Louis Farrakhan and OBL preach -- blind hate and intolerance.

One has to EARN that from me. At the same time, I'll sterotype/profile in a heartbeat if an individual or group fit the bill. I'm not going to ignore the obvious for the sake of political correctness.
