Yeah I saw that. It sucks. But which projections a govt uses to mitigate effects DOES matter.

An engineer would use the WORST CASE scenario to prevent malfunctions, and has to trade off COST against reliability.

Still - GOVTs have to avoid "speculation" and "hysteria tho -- us technical geeks don't. Ain't part of the design process.

OP is doing what Warmists do best: Mislead People.
    From the article:
Where's the "made illegal" part? Hint: It isn't there.

I realize you ignorant Warmist Alarmist types are easily influenced by Snake Oil Salesmen with flashy slide show presentations of icebergs greaking off and polar bears whom you seem to think can't swim. And you wanna' use this false info to enact laws straight out of Agenda 21 to shut down our economy, but this is from the NOAA:

C3: NOAA Says U.S. Cooling Over Last 15 Years: -3.4°F/Century Rate, As of July 2011
"The Sky is falling! The Sky is falling! Give us all you rights and shut down your Economy! NOW!"

You get your news from Comedy Central yet you make fun of anyone who watches FoxNews. :cuckoo:

    You people are such Dopes!

I've been hearing how sea levels will be rising since the 80's. Still hasn't happened.

You should give up flap yap and talking points and actually try researching the issue. Too much to expect, I am quite sure.

Your proof of this is what? You just post foolish flap yap, never bother to research the issue. A reflection of your intellect to be sure.

Measuring sea level change and understanding its causes has considerably improved in the recent years, essentially because new in situ and remote sensing observations have become available. Here we report on most recent results on contemporary sea level rise.We first present sea level observations from tide gauges over the twentieth century and from satellite altimetry since the early 1990s. We next discuss the most recent progress made in quantifying the processes causing sea level change on timescales ranging from years to decades, i.e., thermal expansion of the oceans, land ice mass
loss, and land water–storage change. We show that for the 1993–2007 time span, the sum of climate-related contributions (2.85 ± 0.35 mm year−1) is only slightly less than altimetry-based sea level rise (3.3 ± 0.4 mm year−1): ∼30% of the observed rate of rise is due to ocean thermal expansion and ∼55% results from land ice melt. Recent acceleration in glacier melting and ice mass loss from the ice sheets increases the latter contribution up to 80% for the past five years. We also review the main causes of regional variability in sea level trends: The dominant contribution results from nonuniform
    changes in ocean thermal expansion.
