Employers who seen the opportunity to get out of supplying healthcare insurance because it got so expensive got out of it. Because they are higher paid workers, they don't get much of a subsidy if any. Now their benefit is taxed indirectly due to the fact money spent on healthcare by an employer was never taxed before.

No, he paid us some money, but couldn't pay us what he paid for our insurance.

The only way to pass that money onto your employees is through a rate increase. However, as we all know, rate increases come with more expenses to the employer. He has to match your SS contributions which go higher, same thing with matching your Medicare contributions. Then there is added cost to unemployment insurance and Workman's compensation. Our company has a retirement plan that my employer funds whether you contribute anything or not, so that too increases.

Then after that (as I pointed out) you get taxed on that new money you now have so you end up with not all that much to buy health insurance.

As for finding other employment, yes, I imagine I might be able to do that even at my age since we are in demand. But because of Commie Care, your new employer might decide to do the exact same thing down the road, and then you are at a new job at the bottom of the ladder only in the same place you left before.

Without Commie Care, employers used healthcare benefits to attract the best workers because everybody depended on their employers group plan for lower rates and better benefits.

If the government really cared about making sure you were insured, the very least they could have done is allow employers to give you un-taxed money for that plan. But part of the scam was to have health insurance money taxed. To add insult to injury, my tax preparer told me that we also lost our medical tax deduction because of Commie Care. She told me don't even bother bringing the figures in unless you spent 10K in medical care minimum.

Nobody takes care of their poor better than the United States. In fact, our so-called poor live better than some working people, and I have the stats to prove it. Most poor here live a better life, in a larger home, and with more amenities than the average working European.

No because I have a lot of medical problems. I got a tax deduction in the past both state and federal. Paying for your insurance with your after-tax money does count as a deduction, and the Democrats realized most everybody would have that deduction so it defeated their purpose.
