No, Liberals, Bill Clinton was Not Impeached for Having Affairs but for Perjury and Obstruction

Is it any better that trump lies to us daily?
He hasn't done it under oath and he hasn't used his office to obstruct justice.
He hasn't lied under oath because his lawyers are scrambling to keep him from being deposed. If he's ever forced to, you can count on it happening, because he doesn't know the difference between a lie and the truth. He's used to being the ultimate boss and having whatever he says considered gospel.
Remember in the beginning Trump got caught lying or trying to get Mueller to pledge his loyalty and Republicans said, "oh he doesn't know any better because he's not a politician". Well first of all, he should know better. 2nd of all, ignorance of the law is no excuse. They didn't like it when Hillary said she didn't know any better when she used a private email.

So ultimately it comes down to this. We all know Trump colluded with Russia. In his mind "they all do it". In his mind Obama and crooked Hillary were cheating so it was ok that he cheats/lies and even breaks a few laws.

Perfect example is how Kelly Ann Conway broke the law and didn't even get a slap on the wrist. She broke the law campaigning for Roy Moore and she broke the law peddling Ivanka's clothing line.

In a thread on the Stormy Daniels mess, a liberal complained that while Republicans argue that Bill Clinton's private sexual immorality was a valid reason for impeachment, they dismiss Donald Trump's private sexual immorality as no big deal, irrelevant, etc.

Oh no, no. Clinton was not impeached for his private sexual actions but for lying about them under oath (perjury) and trying to obstruct justice when he was sued for sexual harassment by Paula Jones (who, by the way, passed multiple lie detector tests). Here are the executive summaries of the four articles of impeachment that were approved by the House Judiciary Committee in 1998:

1. The president provided perjurious, false, and misleading testimony to the grand jury regarding the Paula Jones case and his relationship with Monica Lewinsky.

2. The president provided perjurious, false, and misleading testimony in the Jones case in his answers to written questions and in his deposition.

3. The president obstructed justice in an effort to delay, impede, cover up, and conceal the existence of evidence related to the Jones case.

4. The president misused and abused his office by making perjurious, false, and misleading statements to Congress.

Articles 1 and 3 were passed by the House and Clinton was impeached, but the Senate failed to remove him.

This is the huge difference between Trump's affairs and Clinton's affairs: Trump has not lied about them under oath in any civil or criminal deposition or hearing. Nor has any evidence surfaced that Trump has tried to coach witnesses to give false testimony, whereas Bill Clinton summoned Betty Currie to the White House on a Sunday, a very unusual meeting time, to try to get her to testify that she was always there when Monica Lewinsky was there and that Monica and Clinton were never alone.

Clinton's own wheeling-dealing laid groundwork for his legal dilemma
Is it any better that trump lies to us daily?

All politicians lie to you like Preachers and Used Cars Salesman, so Trump is no different except he's Republican!

Then why did you shit your pants when Clinton lied about getting a BJ in the oval office?

I mean isn't that a white lie?

Hope Hicks Acknowledges She Sometimes Tells White Lies for Trump

If you want to rape a minor go to Mara Lago

PALM BEACH —

President Donald Trump is a shadowy, but ever-present, figure in the never-ending saga of billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Mar-a-Lago, the commander-in-chief’s private-club-turned-southern-White-House in Palm Beach, was the backdrop for Epstein’s introduction to one of his dozens of teenage victims, according to court records.

Will President Trump be used as witness in sex offender Epstein case?

The judge had no right to ask Clinton about Monica. That affair was consensual and therefore not relevant to Paula Jones's accusations. It was Calamity Carly's Daddy who got the gaping GOPers to shoot their own wad on this disgraceful giggling-adolescent circus.

We know that. But Republicans were investigation him about an affair.

Why the fuck aren;t you hypocritical asswipes investigating Trump for his affairs & his lies about them?

Let me know when you get a fucking brain & can explain it.

No, he was being investigated because his Attorney General asked that he be investigated to see if he had lied during a deposition. Turned out that he has pushed the truth into something...different.

..

I don't think you know how a deposition works, but the judge was within his rights to ask about anything. And, and the balance of empower made it impossible for consent to be given.

Uhhhh, maybe one difference is that Trump's encounter with Stormy was CONSENSUAL, whereas Clinton's encounters with Paula Jones, Juanita Broderick, and Kathleen Willey, among others, were not? Sheesh, so much for your concern about women's rights, hey?

Get in line

There are a dozen Trump accusers. Daniels is only the latest

The voters had an opportunity to weigh in on Clinton through the Senate and Trump in the general election. In both cases, the voters didn't care.

The Mickey Mouse political Court rooms are there for that purpose..................some call them perjury traps........

In these arena's those ordered to testify should walk in and plead the 5th................and walk away.............They are under no obligation to testify when they know the ones asking the questions are trying to frag them.

When they go you obviously must be guilty..............PROOF IT.........should be your response.
