It's Las Vegas. It's The Strip. It's *meant* to be gaudy. It's meant to stand out from 50,000 feet in the air.

Great shot--did you have to use a tripod ? night shots can be tough!

Yup, tripod. I shot it on "program", so the camera set the shutter speed and aperture. I think the camera set the shutter at 2 seconds with the ISO set at 200. I tried hand shooting it, but it was all fuzz.

It's amazing folks, you can still see the wagon trails (ruts) to the west across the Country from altitude. More amazing is the terrain they (the pioneers) overcame! It is amazing that anyone would have ever made it to the coast.

Um, what? I'm not sure how calling a spade a spade is 'knocking your town'. Just as Shattered said, its MEANT to be gaudy. Are you going to verbally abuse her too?

The gloves are off? So ticking my reputation is what, a right jab? Come on man, let's be nice. I'm sorry to have offended your town, I'm sure its very nice. New York City can be utterly gaudy as well, e.g. Time Square, but like Shattered said, that's kind of the point.

Listen naked, I'd just as soon BE nice here... to EVERBODY! But you always seem to have a way at taking nasty little pokes at me, getting under my skin, and all I'm saying is if you want to keep taking these nasty little pokes at me, then I'm going to "start" taking them at you... again.

How you word things greatly determines how it is taken. You want me to be "nice" to you, then you watch what you're saying to me, and "how" you say it.
