This much is true. Despite the 5.9 trillion and how its expenditure makes the average American feel, a hell of a shit load of the ordinance spent with said fortune ended real threats to our life and liberty—forever. So yeah, with some of those "demons" dirt napping, I feel safer.

Speaking to the "War" (cough, cough ad campaign for) on drugs, shame. Shame on the tactical strategy. Shame on the folks who planned and executed it.
