It's almost criminal the way the left is willing to swallow skewed statistics without checking. The firearms used in the Columbine shootings were purchased legally but not by the shooters. The firearm used in the Sandy Hook school shooting was purchased legally but not by the shooter. They do not. Criminals in possession of illegal guns commit almost all of our gun crime.

Right wingers, and unstable gun enthusiasts often claim legal gun owners just don't commit crimes. Not sure why, but they are rarely corrected for such a huge lie. One thing almost all mass shooters have in common is how they legally got their AR15, which is the weapon of choice for most mass shooters. Mass shooters are known as Good Guys With A Gun, right up until they open fire. There is no doubt that shooters generally match a pattern, and enacting red flag laws and universal background checks would have denied many mass shooters the weapons used in their attacks. It's past time for reasonable gun control, and only a fool can't see that.

I am all for people locking up their guns when they are not being used or carried for self defense, but I am not going to support mandating it with laws that will simply be used to attack normal gun owners.

So mass public school shootings are the rarest of rare events in this country........our real problem is the democrat party attacking our police to the point they can't, or won't do their jobs, and the democrat party policy of releasing the most violent gun criminals over and over again. These criminals, released by democrat party judges and prosecutors with soft on crime laws passed by democrat party politicians, are the ones doing 99.9% of all shootings in our country, in primarily democrat party controlled cities.
