When George Bush flew onto an aircraft carrier to proclaim "Mission Accomplished" for removing Saddam Hussein from power, the left screamed, b*tched, and moaned that the mission was by no means accomplished because our troops were still in Iraq. They blasted Bush for excessive celebration while our soldiers were still being killed in a country we no longer needed to be in...and, in my opinion, rightfully so. However, here we are a decade later and the same left are on here defending a similar action, but this time by Obama. Obama flies into Afghanistan to celebrate the one year anniversary of the death of Osama bin Laden (only difference between the two incidents being there wasn't a banner). To the left now, this is acceptable and encouraged. We are told this is not a double standard (aka hypocrisy)...well, the mission obviously isn't accomplished this time either...you know, since our troops are still in harms way, just in a different country. We were told by Candidate Obama that our troops would be home by now...it's another promise Obama made that he has unapologetically broken. Yet, for all the promises that Obama has failed to deliver on, the left still celebrate him as the second coming of a messiah. Sad.
