Military Service

And to make matters worse, what Daiel is talking about with "higher numbers" is the number of sexual partners. And the "lots of practice" is having lots of sex. That was his suggestion to help increase the number of enlistees. (to swell the ranks, as it were)
How on Earth did you reach that conclusion? Granted, Daniel’s MO is to continuously repeat a phrase without ever giving a coherent explanation of what he means, but I’m at a loss as to how it is even possible to interpret his phrase here as having to do with sex.

But you are correct in saying he is intentionally vague in his comments and regularly refuses to answer questions. But his humiliation can be entertaining at times.

But the entertainment value is about spent.

Because in numerous other conversations he has talked about wanting female friends to help him raise his numbers and help him with practice.
He has complained that women won't fuck him because of his low numbers and lack of practice. He is obsessed with finding a female to help with both.

situps and pushups; practice can make perfect, to pass the test.

So when you said "higher numbers and lots of practice" you were referring to situps and pushups?
The thread is about military service; full employment of resources is what we are discussing.

If you claim you intended your "higher numbers and lots of practice" to be about situps and pushups, you are a liar.
there is No Test to pass regarding situps and pushups?

i am not vague; those of the opposing view are simply, clueless and Causeless.

And when you use the exact same words, and refuse to answer questions which would clarify, it is your fault if you are misinterpreted.

Perhaps you would consider an actual dialogue instead of your usual vague posts and refusal to answer questions about what you mean.

How many times did I ask you, directly, the simple question "what test?"?

Absolutely wrong. Your pretense at such a vast intellect is laughable. I understand things quite well. But if I have a question about what you mean, why do you steadfastly refuse to answer? What is the point of intentionally ignoring a question which would clarify what you mean?

Let me walk you through this:
In response to the U.S. Army having difficulty finding qualified recruits and the possibility of having to recall veterans and the hope that it would not be old fat ones, your response was “
nope; just get the, "gunny sarge", involved.

Problem 1: The Army does not have the rank of Gunnery Sergeant, so it is not clear how you think one should or could be involved in anything to do with Army recruitment or recalling of veterans.

Problem 2: it is not stated or implied in what way a Gunnery Sergeant could help potential recruits or discharged veterans with any of the recruiting issues mentioned.

When asked how a “gunny sarge” could help, your reply was “High numbers and plenty of practice.”. There is no context to let anyone know higher numbers of what or more practice at what. And it cannot even be guessed at how higher numbers or practice could erase a criminal record, which was one of the issues you were responding to. And you have not clarified or explained at all.

This is you being vague. The only “cluelessness” is our inability to read your mind.

Oh, and side note: no one in the Corps would refer to a Gunnery sergeant as “gunny sarge” if he or she valued his or her health.

Any test that may be required to prove proficiency in any given aspect of any given Art, martial.

I was being satirical. Socialism must be about full employment of resources, or it is merely as Good as lousy capitalists.

The law of large numbers matters; anybody can do something useful while learning on the job and taking courses to advance their potential.

Oh, so now you answer? Lol. Too funny.

Only one - fourth of America's Yoot qualifies for military service. Dropped out of school, criminal record, can't do the physical, scored "Doofis" on the qualification test. Et cetera.

For the first time in a decade, the Army failed to meet its recruitment target.

The good news is (if you want to look at this way), the Army's entrance standards are suitably high, and jobs for lower - middle class Yoot are relatively plentiful.

But Jesus, 25%? If we have a "need" we are in trouble. I suspect they would just start re - calling veterans.

Thankfully, not old fat ones like me.
I would have a problem with serving in as if you have a armed target in a combat area you have call someone to shoot him....I would not fit in.

they've been itching to fill the military with foreigners who need jobs , benefits and a way to become citizens . This might be the time DGS .
---------------------------------------------just so i am not misunderstood , the last think i want to see is a USA Military full of mexicans or somalis . But i can see many USA Polyicians that would like that idea Taxman .
They would not have any problem gunning down some white folks.

my thinking is that thats when the imported USA Military could go to work . All they work for is a paycheck and benefits , citizenship and the 'king' or government tells them what to do . My Dad told me 60 years ago that USA Military would always be WITH and FOR the American people because American military is made up of American Sons , Fathers , Daughters , yada , yada . Change the Military into a 'mercenary' force full of foreigners working for money , benefits and citizenship and then the military is no long made up of American sons , Fathers , Daughters or Americans DStubbs .

Socialism is entirely irrelevant here.
But to counter your point: Capitalism is about efficient use of resources. If you have 3 people working on a task that only requires 1, then that is full use of labor, but also very inefficient.

The law of large numbers matters; anybody can do something useful while learning on the job and taking courses to advance their potential.
You say law of large numbers but then you talk about individuals. I don’t think you understand the concept. But you’re also off-topic. The discussion was recruiting for the Army, not a general “something” useful.

In order to qualify for the U.S. military, all officers must be U.S. citizens. Enlisted must be U.S. citizens, U.S. Nationals (residents of American Samoa), Permanent Resident Aliens (green card holders), or citizens of the former U.S. possessions of Micronesia or the Marshall Islands.
I do not believe those requirements were different 60 years ago.

So your idea of a bunch of foreigners just doesn’t work. The military is only a little bit faster way to gain citizenship, but you have to already be on that path in the first place.

perhaps on the people that you mention but 60 years ago we were not importing 'somalis' , muslims , mex , guats , belizers , venzies and other third worlders to the extent that we are today . And i am talking a few years ago or today or in the near future as some politicians want to allow foreigners to go into the military and to be military for paychecks , benefits and citizenship . And i of course oppose that Pinqy .
