Will someone tell me just why we have to rush to judgement here? There's a fair and competent investigation going on, by the FDLE and the FBI. It should be finished soon, and then we will all know whether Zimmerman can lawfully be charged or not, and whether there's anything that can be presented to the Grand Jury for their consideration.Then we'll see if the Grand Jury finds enough evidence to issue an indictment or not. If there is an indictment, we'll eventually have a trial, in a court of law, by proper legal procedure, where a verdict can be rendered, and sentence passed if anyone is guilty of a crime in this case.The system is working; let it do its job, instead of trying to incite a lynch mob. The media have NO right to try this case, a mob in the streets has NO right to try this case, and we here have NO right to try this case. There is absolutely NO right, for anyone on either side to prejudge the facts of this case, render a verdict, pass sentence, or even arrest the purported defendant. That's why we have investigative agencies and courts of law. NO ONE has the right to throw out the judicial process or the rule of law, and substitute his/her own personal judgement for it-NOT any of us, NOT the media, NOT any politician, NOT any "activist", NOT the members of a mob, individually or collectively. ANYONE who usurps the judicial process, and conducts a lynching, in this or any other case, should be, and I hope will be, charged with a crime themselves, and brought before the bar of justice to answer for it.

There's a clear choice here: either let this case proceed under due process of law, or disregard the law, and take it into our own hands. The latter is unacceptable in America. This case, according to law, is NOT about racial politics, NOT a political football to be kicked around for our collective amusement, NOT the proper subject for a media frenzy driven by a lust for profit and ratings, and NOT an excuse for inciting civil disorder; it is a matter of law, and those here on both sides who want to make it something else for your own emotional satisfaction, ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

Linking to a publication from the New Jersey Attorney General's Office is not going to be very helpful in identifying gang affiliation in Florida. But, thanks for displaying your ignorance.

The media should be sued for every violent crime between blacks & whites until they spend as much prime time broadcasting showing that they lied & nothing illegal occurred in the Zimmerman / Martin case.

Sadly, there is also a substantial proportion of our media who care more about controversy than justice. They are the ones responsible for the Zimmerman/Martin chaos... they prefer to create the news rather than report it.

A decent media would be investigating their own part in this whole clusterfuck. A decent media would be asking very hard questions about why we have young people killing each other - regardless of their race. They would be asking why our young people are involved in gangs and violence... what is missing from their lives that they see gangs as an appropriate choice? What are we, as a country, doing wrong and why are we letting these kids down so badly? And.... more importantly.... what can we do to fix it?

Sadly, instead, they inflame an already difficult situation.... and they do it purely for monetary gain.

I agree with you. THEY want to live their lives in peace. It's everyone else's lives they want to screw up. But then I would also agree that it is not everyday liberals who are living their lives outside the political realm. It is those who are in politics, activists and extremists who want to screw with everyone else. Conservatives are not any different, they just come from a different angle.

I also agree with you that it should be just one side, the American side.
