What is correct - -11.4 squared = - 129.96 or 129.96?
Positive. It's the square root where you have to do the +/- stuff.
I'm figuring deviation. So, the latter is correct? Merci!
Best to go with your feelings on stuff like this.
Or flip a coin. Cant go wrong with that and I'll even draw a diagram of me doingit to 'show' my work. :LOL
(+) x (+) = (+)
(+) x (-) = (-)
(-) x (+) = (-)
(-) x (-) = (+)
When you square a number, it's + regardless of whether it's + or -.
On a side note
81 is the only number whose sum of its integers equals its square root
Well damn. Now a dozen USMB members are figuring square roots like crazy to see if you're right about that.
Keep an eye on this thread, I'll be back when I get to the ranking part.
How dare you do deviations without me ?
Separate names with a comma.
