I've calculated the number of immigrants who have crossed the border since Biden beckoned them to step right up and cross the border to America to be around seven and a half million immigrants. In an upper middle class-averaged citizen of the great state of Massachusetts, 20,000 immigrants they've taken in would have a trouble to understand that our Texas southern border is somewhat poor country with dry, cutting edges scrubgrass and prickly pear scattered here and there between Mesquite bushes and an occasional Century plant. Most bugs hide away, but in the early spring migration, tarantulas eliminate the usual visual roads with their billions of bodies scurrying in all directions on the one or two days they have of spring or early fall rains, if that much. It's pretty creepy, and falling into a stand of prickly pear guarantees you several hours of picking out the spines from your body as they even go through the best heavy denim. Oddly, if you're walking in their helter-skelter migration, the tarantulas will go around your feet when they're running and not up your ankles. As I have always said, it's creepy. They disguise the earth with their black furry legs and bodies untill all you see is a dark, brackish color zigzagging irregularly over the earth when they migrate. It's breathtaking if you've ever driven through the migratory creatures' run. Time for my evening nap. Have a lovely evening all.
