Was his skin color mentioned? I don't believe there is a link between melanin and fertility, but I do think there is a link between culture, poverty, and irresponsibility. Do you need a link?

Will ravi, we don't have a forum for "Out of Wedlock Issues", so this was the closest. Race, ethnicity, diversity, culture, etc. are often used synonymously. I agree that it shouldn't, because skin color does not determine one's character.

But cultural norms, such as intentional unwed pregnancy and deadbeat fatherhood, does. In some of these cultures, it is socially acceptable. And for some apologists this board, it is as well. Not for me.

I believe fathers are extremely important. Happy Father's Day.
