Majority Black School Scrapping Gifted Program To "Increase Diversity."

In other words, they accidently segregated their school by offering a gifted program. The white children scored higher than their black counterparts, and thus, went from a majority black classroom to a "brimming" white classroom. You see, fostering the gifts of the smarter students is a violation of social justice and it isn't fair to the black students who can't score as high. So how did they rectify the situation? They stuffed them among the slower learning students so as to make it more fair and diverse. And they say diversity is a strength? In this case its a undisputable weakness. In this case, diversity is promoted over the well being of the children.

How bad is this school on average? It scored a 3 out of 10 at greatschools.org and is below average in every subject in every grade. Now students who showed promise of escaping this mecca of below average students are forced to learn at the pace of those who will probably be making license plates in the local prison in about 7-12 years.

Combine policies such as these with Eric Holder forbidding schools to suspend/expel black deviants and we can see that racial preference is being promoted over the well being of responsible students.

A popular gifted program will get the axe after Ditmas Park school officials chose diversity over exclusivity.

Citing a lack of diversity, PS 139 Principal Mary McDonald informed parents in a letter that the Students of Academic Rigor and two other in-house programs would no longer accept applications for incoming kindergartners.

“Our Kindergarten classes will be heterogeneously grouped to reflect the diversity of our student body and the community we live in,” McDonald told parents in a letter posted on the photo-sharing site flickr and obtained by Ditmas Park Corner.

More than two thirds of the school’s roughly 1,000 students are black or hispanic while Asian-American and white students made up 28%, according to Education Dept. records.

One mother, a Sudanese immigrant, said the program was brimming with white students—but she was looking forward to her daughter joining after years of high test scores.

Other parents and relatives picking up students on Wednesday said the school should keep the program as is.

“It’s been running like this for so long,” said 16-year-old Maruful Hossain, who attended the school as a child and now picks up his little brother there. “It will always be diverse—no matter what.”

Bring the smart ones down to the level of the low achievers. Can't get more diverse and inclusive than that stupidity.

Multiculturalism & diversity= anti-white. This case is the perfect example. White students who show promise are not allowed to exercise their talents because there aren't enough black people who are gifted learners. All in the dame of diversity and multiculturalism. Instead of bringing the black students up they drag the white students down.
