LA is building a stadium and will get a team. It's just a matter of when, and who.....There are two competing proposals- one from AEG who wants a downtown stadium (this plan is approved by the city of LA and personally, I think it is the best option) and the second by Majestic Real Estate who want to build the stadium in Diamond Bar about 30 miles east of downtown LA. One of these deals is going to happen....eventually!

The city is broke and can't afford to pay 1.5 Billion dollars for a fuckin stadium that will only host 8 games, half of which will be blacked out.

The city isn't paying anything- AEG is paying . They are talking about possibly 2 NFL teams- and hosting NCAA Final Four every few years as well......


PS- The new Convention Center (AEG is building that as part of the deal) will push LA into the top 5 of Convention towns in the US and generate millions in revenue for the City. Would you rather go to LA or Omaha in January? It's a no-brainer. Great weather, beautiful women, Celebrities, did I mention the weather? ......fuggetaboutit...
