facebook and all of that didn't evolve until Americans started using the web for activism. It was only after that that these platforms like facebook and twitter came along.

I've always believed it was strategic in order to take control of the narrative and to take control of the flow of information.

facebook for instance has former Obama officials on its board deciding who gets banned and what info gets posted, I shared links about that a while back some place on here.
