Let This Sink In: Trump Could Have Had It All, DACA, Wall Funding, Spending Bill, Then He Blew It Up

Let this sink in.
.@realDonaldTrump should heed his own words:
“if there is a shutdown I think it would be a tremendously negative mark on the president of the United States. He's the one that has to get people together.” #TrumpShutdown

The New York Times Headlines for morning and the title of the AP's lead story both blame the Democrats.

NYT's says...Democrats Vote to Block Keeping Government Open.
The AP wrote...Democrats Derail Funding to Keep Government Open.

The Dems lose all the way around. McConnell just read Trump's note on the Floor of the Senate. "Until Our Military is getting paid there will be no discussion on Immigration." He ain't gonna sign anything before
the government is back up and running.

There was no reason for this and now they must get the Government back open if they want to save DACA.

Unlike our wingnut liberals here, The New York Times and the AP are at least willing to admit the obvious.

Thank God for Trump!

And, I still want some liberal here to post a link to the TEXT of this alleged "deal" that Trump supposedly turned down. As of yesterday evening, as the White House pointed out, Democrats still had not put anything in writing, much less a DACA bill that could be voted on.

uh........$1.6B is not enough ($20B?). Where is the end to Visa Lottery? End to Chain Migration? this was no deal. this was hogwash.

First. The orange assclown, that has now been exposed as cheating on his third wife with a porn star, said repeatedly to the point of making normal people want to vomit, that Mexico was going to pay for the wall. A $1.6 Billion gesture by Democrats was very generous on their part.

Said assclown, and serial adulterer and pathological liar also stated in a meeting just two days ago, he would sign a clean DACA bill.

The fact that he didn't even try to make a deal, but sat back and allowed radical members in the House dictate ultimatums, instead of making part of the deal that would exclude chain migration, was a decided failure on the "dealmakers" part.

Mainly because he is an incompetent know nothing, a failure as a human being, and a grifter that nobody takes seriously anyway.

Your attempt at trying to frame this as a serious conversation is so noted.
But you are not biased at all.

Rants don't work anymore. No one believes the ranter and you just st look the angry idiot looking to justify an emotion you can't control.

Trumps a stupid fucker that fucked himself!

It's your stupid party that's having

intercourse with it's self......

You are all just too ignorant to get it....

It's clear you liberals care more about MS-13 Gang Members

than you do about Americas Children and Military...

You are all pathetic and you will pay dearly in the next election...

Take it to the bank..

Dealmaker Donald Trump had a deal. It was deal he said he would sign just two days earlier on live TV. It was a deal he said he would "take the heat" for if it came to that, then he buckled—and for no reason at all.

The deal would have been an all-around victory for him. It gave him $1.6 billion for the border wall he so badly wants. It gave him a DACA fix for Dreamers, the "bill of love" he'd asked Congress to give him. And it would have given him the votes to pass a long-term spending bill to both fund the government and the military, a top priority for Trump and the White House.

But Trump looked that deal in face and spit at it. Almost literally spit at it, because he had been primed by his nativist aides and the nativist lawmakers his aides had summoned to the White House to kill the deal. Mission accomplished.

Trump not only killed the deal, but he did so in terms that left the deal's brokers—Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin and GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham—speechless...

Let this sink in: Trump could have had it all—DACA, wall funding, a spending bill—then he blew it up

$1.6 billion is nothing. If we don't get all the wall funding now, we'll never get it.

Take your $1.6 billion and go fuck yourself.

You idiots must believe we're as dumb as you are.

We do not need wall funding, Mexico is paying for it. Rump said so, bleev him!

Why debate liberals? Just laugh in their stupid brainwashed faces.

Dont waste your time presenting the facts.

Were Chain Migration or the so called Visa Lottery even included in that CR? Did Trump-0 blow up an agreed to bill for something that wasn't even discussed anyway?

HUH???????????? JUST HUH???????????

WHAT "agreed to bill"???

I'm STILL waiting for the text of this alleged "deal" that Trump supposedly rejected. Where's the DACA/immigration bill that Republicans are supposed to vote on to appease the Democrats? Where is it? Give me a link to the text.

Can you people think and process information?

Trump can't take yes for an answer.

Where's the bill? Everyone knows you can't take democrats at their word, especially when they're promising you something in the future in exchange for you giving them something now.

Ok, liberals, I'm still waiting for one of you to post a link to the "deal" that Trump supposedly rejected, much less the DACA bill that the Republicans were supposed to vote on. Show me the text of this "deal." Or, let's see the DACA bill that the Dems have submitted. I'll keep checking back.

Are you saying that the published reports are fake news? Here is another one describing what was offered ,SCHUMER: I put 'the wall' on the table in my meeting with Trump, but he backed out of the deal

Are you saying that Schumer lied on the floor of the senate when he discussed what was offered?

There would not be any "text" of a deal at that stage. It was nit yet in the form of a bill.

Let THIS sink in.......

Clearly the Democrats are waging an all out war against AMERICAN children....favoring foreigners children parented by criminal illegal immigrants.

Why are you willing to sacrifice the well being of AMERICAN children in favor of the children of criminal illegal immigrants?

If your parents robbed a bank and killed 7 people in the process....should you get to enjoy the banks money?

You could get Norway to pay for the wall if you tariff the heck out of them.

f your parents robbed a bank and killed 7 people in the process....should you get to enjoy the banks money?
Logical fallacy-false analogy. The money would be giving something back that they did not have to begin with. The staying in this country is different because for most it is the only home that they ever had and deportation would make their life worse.
