Baseball could use some Pete Roses.

Indeed.

Baseball was so much more enjoyable to watch back then in those days when Rose was playing.You didnt have that stupid three way wild card race,you didnt have greedy selfish owners tearing down classic ballparks,but most importantly,you had many players like Rose playing the game for the love of the game instead of the love of the money and playing their entire career with one team or in the case of Rose,most of their career with one team.
