He has a point - old people use up a lot of taxpayer funds to care for them in their final years of life, but he could have chosen better words. He ended up sounding offensive.
At what age do we consider one old and why is their decision to live any business of the governments or anyone other than the person themselves?
What's next? Do we start to accuse those over 60 of house hoarding as they do in the UK? And try to find ways to force them out for the younger people to move into the homes they bought and paid for?
