People saying we should have stayed is like a slap in the face to all those soldiers who were serving multiple deployments with no end in sight. The hell he didn't. Hussein was a tyrant, but he balanced out the region, maintained control of Iraq, and kept civil war from breaking out. Bush goes in, causes hundreds of thousands of casualties and the displacement of another million. Results in al-Maliki taking over who couldn't maintain control and whose policies have led to sectarian civil war.Of course it's Bush's fault. Bush did not turn the middle east "up side down." You may not like the power structure in Iraq but it is a democratically controlled government. ISIS did form in Iraq but their power didn't come until the power vacuums created in Libya and Syria both by the hands of Obama and Hillary leading from the rear. It wasn't more than 5 years ago that we heard of ISIS and saw what they were doing. It is well known that the US under Obama funded the Syrian rebels and allowed large quantities of arms to be taken from Iraq by ISIS.

Couldn't be more irrelevant to Iraq. Germany and Japan were unified nationalized countries before and after WWII. Iraq was cobbled together politically and held together the Sunnis, Shiites, and Kurds by the hands of a tyrant.
