And that technology will give the individual home owner the choice of being on the grid or being independent. Something your little corporatist heart hates the thought of. In fact, it can even give individual municipalities that option.
The future is that home owners will be both producers and consumers of power. The utitlities are already switching to renewables on the basis of cost. A distributed grid is where it is going to be at. one that can pick up a 2 gw nuke, or a 2 kw homeowners contribution.
It is why I believe we should be advancing the science of Structures; such that we can build habitation almost anywhere on Earth, regardless of climate change.
