A dem led house and senate is a thousand times more reasonable and willing to work across the aisle than the current bunch who has far exceeded all records of obstructionism. You cannot blame their ideological gridlock on the president in any way, I feel we are seeing the future of republican politics, if they cannot control the government then they will sabotage it into ruin.
I don't know that Obama has ever had a plan, certainly not one with any details. Other than bash the opposition and wait for Nancy and Harry to push something through Congress. 'Course that was in the good old days before the Dems lost the House, now it's just blame the repubs in the House for everything. Not much of a plan, IMHO.
That doesn't change the fact that he did, and when he did, he thumbed his nose in the faces of republicans. A real leader wouldn't do that. A real leader would realize that he didn't win with 100% of the vote and therefore the voices of millions of Americans are represented by those republicans. He basically shit all over them and, with the help of the democrat held houses, pushed through whatever they wanted without regard for what the other side, nor most of Americans thought. As you may recall, popular opinion was against Obamacare.
I'm not saying the republicans aren't without blame, just thwarting the idea that Obama and the dems are.

Not really, you guys seem to have some pretty well defended excuses why the republicans in congress are right in being 100% obstructive and willing to crash the economy while I am willing to discuss any failure in the Obama administration as long as it is honestly discussed as a failure of congress to send anything but utter bullshit to his desk to sign.
While the Obama campaign continues to demand that Mitt Romney spell out every aspect of every plan on every issue, Obama has demonstrated zero interest whatsoever in laying out his plans for the future.
Thats the point of a new Republican National Committee video culled from todays Sunday morning news shows, during which David Gregory of NBC, George Stephanopoulos of ABC, Chris Matthews of MSNBC, Michael Duffy of Time, and Bob Schieffer of CBS all asked Obama surrogates just what Obama would do during his second term. Not one Obama official had a good answer.
And thats the problem for Obama. As we grow closer to the election, the American people are becoming more and more comfortable with Mitt Romney, and less and less comfortable with the presidents tacit slogan: Trust me. Obama simply hasn't earned our trust.
