But it's people's parents that tried to kill me in Vietnam.
Some people would say it's in the past
well it's in my present and I'm looking for an apology.
But Cowards don't apologize for anything.

Besides Vietnam was all about improving the nation's economy.
The 1960's and early 1970's are some of the best economical years
in American history.
As long as us guys were getting killed in Vietnam
Profits were going up for American companies.
Vietnam accomplished one thing
the deaths of over 58,000 other Americans.
Because America couldn't tell their Leader
to stick the war up his Butt.

You had the privilege of serving your country in combat. What that meant to anyone else is irrelevant, but you should consider it a privilege. I've known hundreds of Vietnam vets with every experience imaginable and none of them have whined like you. It's an Infantryman's prerogative to bitch, not to whine. Now, what was your MOS? With all this bitching you better not be a fucking REMF.

And before you decide to start one of your tirades on me or my family, my dad was in Phu Bai for 2 tours and my grandfather was the commandant of Long Bien jail 1967-1968. I served 5 years in the Infantry and my son served 6 years in the Infantry including a tour of Mosul, Iraq.
