I've been posting and communicating on this thread for a few months now and just noticed this area for introducing one's self. Some of you have probably read my posts and hate my guts, and some of you may welcome a new voice for progressive thinking and liberal perspective. But for those who haven't let me just give myself a brief introduction. My name is Ian and I live in Colorado. I served in the US Marine Corps from 1995 to 1999. Afterwards I became a climbing guide until I broke my leg and my wallet. I've worked in the ski industry, the forest service, and in more than a few corporate offices. I'm an agnostic and fully support freedom of religion. I'm a radical, fringe-dwelling liberal, marxist, socialist, communist (which doesn't mean Stalinism or what China practices), homo-loving, elitist, environmentalist, peace-loving hippie with a beard even. I'm far too left to vote democrat, but I do, or maybe I should say I vote anti-Republican. I think the way to solve the world's problems is through better understanding between all people and all kinds of people, and compassion. Or, a terrible plague that kills most of us off, one of the other. Alright, feel free to rant away, and I'll see you in the pits!
