All of those and more. The problem for the democrats is their base has become increasingly extreme. Independents and moderates that have been paying attention either won’t vote for anyone or will vote for Trump. It will be too late to pivot to the center after the primaries. Trump is weak candidate, but all the other dems are much worse.
