Those un-American dopes who keep asking "why do we need immigrants?" Haven't thought about it 'deeply' enough. The answer is just beneath the surface.

A fascinating - and classically American - story of a person who changed the world through individual genius, and the freedom and opportunity found in America.

John Philip Holland | American inventor

Do you really not understand that the migrants pouring into our country now do not share the same vision that those who came here legally, to become American citizens and share in the dream?
Why do you think that?

Immigrants today do share the same dreams and aspirations. Limited individuals today do share the same irrational fears that those in Holland's day voiced.

Then there were also those who did not assimilate, but as it is NOW they were a minority. Immigrants today are assimilating and pursuing the American Dream just as those who came before them.

51% of the Muslims we have flown in want Sharia Law in America. What part of that screams Constitution and Bill of Rights?
Immigrants came here for freedom then. Now they come to destroy freedom.
Let's not pretend the two ideals are the same. They are not.

At this point, I am down for limiting the amount we legalize, but also to make the process easier..
And Mr. Holland was a genius!

In the 1800s (or today), what percentage of Catholics would say that the teachings of the Bible and the Church were higher in their minds and hearts than secular laws?

Immigrants today are assimilating just as those before them did.

Nobody in the freaking modern world ever questioned the contributions of 20th century ...LEGAL... immigrants. Maybe it's in the interests of the ignorant radical left to confuse the difference between legal aliens and criminals who flood the borders.

In his day there were people saying the exact same hysterical shit about immigrants that is heard from the ignorant and fearful today. And generations before, the same. However, throughout immigrants have continued to come and continued to assimilate, just as they are today.
