Zone1 Jesus Tempted By The Devil / Satan

The Holy spirit came at Pentecost. Jesus told the seven churches that it would be soon within that generation. Perhaps you know more than Jesus.

If that was true then how do you resolve the fact that your Holy Spirit has not done in 2000 years even one of the three specific things that Jesus said that Advocate would be sent by God to do when he came? Please explain. Is he sleeping? On vacation? In the witness protection program?

Maybe you should read the story of pentecost more intelligently.

"Tongues of fire appeared that settled over each of the disciples heads."....... Like whoosh!

Some things never change!

The dragon; the serpent; the devil; and Satan are one and the same.

Right. A metaphor for a human archetype, condemned by God as the lowest of lowlifes, "Lower than cattle and all the wild beasts of the field", which are also metaphors for human archetypes..

The talking serpent beguiled Adam and Eve into defying the command of God which caused their "death" by expulsion from Eden. This is why Jesus said Satan was a murderer from the beginning.

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside even one of the least of these commands, and teaches others do do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven,"

To understand what Jesus meant by saying "will be called least", see Genesis 3:14

Capisci? Entiendes?

"The kingdom of heaven is like hidden treasure lying buried in a field. The man who found it (Jesus H. Christ) buried it again."

Can you dig it?

The tribulation was over in 70 AD.

Tell that to the victims of the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Salem witch hunts, and the Holocaust.

According to scripture the tribulation does not end until Christ appears again and destroys the antichrist that you worship, the god made man made matzo made by human hands. An almighty, (yet edible), supernatural reality defying unequalled coequal triune mangod who diddled a virgin to father himself to become fully human only to be despised and rejected as a drunken nutjob then tortured and crucified and made into a "perfect sacrifice" so that believers can sin with impunity for life but in reality never actually existed except in the unrestrained imaginations of the deluded.

"And then the lawless one (the antichrist) will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming."

What does the tribulation have to do with the crusades or witch burnings?

Try not to overburden surada with too much truth. He can only handle a tiny bit at a time. He thinks we're currently living in Heaven.

That's not what it says. Jesus said when they see the abomination of desolation again they are to flee to the mountains. They did. They fled to Pella and avoided the whole tribulation.

Apparently all that I can say to you that you might hear is that God is merciful. Many people will not know the tribulation is actually happening and has been happening unabated to this day since Rome usurped and perverted christianity a very long time before they were born and many more will not realize that the dreaded reign of the antichrist and the tribulation has ended when it does.

The fact remains in spite of your irrational history defying assertion that the tribulation ended in 70 c.e., it isn't over yet as long as anyone, blacks, hispanics, the widow the orphan and the alien, not to mention anyone in the LGBTQIA+ community are singled out for persecution by dedicated believers in an edible trinity that diddled a virgin to become a sacrificial man that never existed.

Actually, Christians will be the target of "the world" during the final days. But I agree that the actual Great Tribulation is still a future event.

You should have read the rest of Jesus' warning. And you must have missed the part when Jesus said the end of the age of darkness was not imminent in spite of popular opinion and was laughed at for saying so.. Aside from that the gospel was not preached worldwide at 70ce, Israel did not return as a nation in 70 ce, and 1000 years of peace on earth still doesn't even seem close, not to mention that people are still chomping on a triune mangod every other Sunday and high holiday.

I'd try to decipher your comment, but haven't the time at the moment.

The revelation letter to the seven churches says "soon" within a generation. I don't think you can change that.

See?

The tribulation will end before you realize that it began a very very long time before you were born.

Your entire life has been lived during the tribulation but you never knew it because God is merciful.

The Bible says that there will be "many" tribulations, and there have been. But the "Great Tribulation" is the tribulation of all tribulations. It's the culmination of the times, and it will end with a global cleansing by fire. It will be like the days of Noah only during his time, the earth was cleansed with water (the flood). But I do believe we're seeing the early signs of the Great Tribulation, which is yet to come.

He was speaking about 'the generation of error", the only branch of Judaism allowed to persist by the romans which now includes christians who perpetuate the erroneous 'belief' that the subject of the divine commands is diet fashion and the sexual preferences of consenting adult bipeds.

The same perverse beliefs about God and degrading religious practices that Jesus died opposing.

Jesus said that he had a fire to kindle. Wake up. That fire is raging out of control worldwide. The celestial powers have been shaken, stars are falling from the sky, mountains are crumbling into the sea, valleys are being lifted up, the paralyzed are standing up and walking, the blind see, the deaf hear, and the dead are coming out of their tombs and graves in droves right in front of your eyes.

Like in a game of musical chairs the music is over and many people no longer have a place to sit.

Their false claim to moral authority has been extirpated creating a new heaven and a new earth.

When Rome usurped Christianity in 325 ce who do you think they immediately started persecuting? Anyone who kept the divine commands or maintained allegiance to Jesus...

It is a historical fact that all Christians Jews and unbelievers were ruthlessly persecuted maimed enslaved tortured and killed off as the enemy of Roman Catholicism and its triune mangod from the beginning.

Whats the problem? 1,698 years of history isn't horrific enough to qualify as the great tribulation?

The Catholic Church persecuted anyone (including Bible-believing Christians) who didn't follow the Catholic traditions.

Like I said, there have been "MANY" tribulations and many of them were horrific. But none will be like the one to come.

You contradict the scriptures and Josephus.
