CDZ Jesus didn't exist

The Bible tells us that Jesus had siblings.

Hostile Non-Biblical Pagan Accounts There are a number of ancient classical accounts of Jesus from pagan, non-Christian sources. These accounts are generally hostile to Christianity; some ancient authors denied the miraculous nature of Jesus and the events surrounding His life:

Thallus (52AD)
Tacitus (56-120AD)
Mara Bar-Serapion (70AD)
Phlegon (80-140AD)
Pliny the Younger (61-113AD)
Suetonius (69-140AD)
Lucian of Samosata: (115-200 A.D.)
Celsus (175AD)

Hostile Non-Biblical Jewish Accounts:

Josephus (37-101AD)
Jewish Talmud (400-700AD)
The Toledot Yeshu (1000AD)

There is evidence outside the Bible that provides proof that Jesus did exist.

The supposed account of Jesus in Talmud wasn't Jesus but someone whose name was also Yeshua (his actual name, 'Jesus' is just the English version of the Greek 'Ieosus' from the NT texts.)

Yeshua?

Yeshua is the Hebrew name, and its English spelling is “Joshua.” Iesous is the Greek transliteration of the Hebrew name, and its English spelling is “Jesus.” Thus, the names “Joshua” and “Jesus” are essentially the same; both are English pronunciations of the Hebrew and Greek names for our Lord.

As an aside, that his name was Yeshua seems contradictory to Isaiah 7:14 prophecizing the Messiah being named 'Immanuel' not 'Yeshua.'

Emmanuel is a title--not a name. Emmanuel means "God with us".
funny that's the name of a classic porno...
Emmanuelle is the lead character in a series of French soft porn erotic movies based on a character created by Emmanuelle Arsan in the novel Emmanuelle (1959). Only films and episodes produced by the ASP ("Alain Siritzky Productions") film company are official and based on Arsan's character.

The name Emmanuelle (and its various spelling combinations) has gone on to become a by-word for erotic film.

Except the religious one isn't spelled with an 'E' :)

Yeshua's life and role in Christianity echoes other Messianic figures in their religions. So that he may not have actually existed but been fabricated basing other religious myths for the new one taking form in Israel is a fair question to raise. And it's not as nonsensical as you seem to think. Quite a few scholars agree.

Like I said, it's up to you if you believe or don't, it makes no difference to me what so ever

10 Christ-like Figures Who Pre-Date Jesus - Listverse

10 religious figures like Jesus who predate him.

Jesus was an amalgamation of figures at best. A complete fabrication at worst. Some even say he was a doomsday prophet who really lived, but all the son of God, founder of Christianity stuff is false.

Yawn....that's no proof He never existed. Like I said, don't believe if you don't want to
willful ignorance at it's finest

Are you jumping up and down screaming "look at me!!!!!". You're adding nothing and are annoying
you are the queen of false assumption and I'm making you react and that is adding some thing..

Regardless, your premise is sinking faster than a stone in a river. Even the Greek historians mention Jesus.

You don't want to believe that's fine but your nonsense is just that, nonsense.

I don't. Or rather I don't believe Yeshua was the son of God, the Jewish Messiah, or anything divine. If he existed he may well have been one of many crazed religious wannabes. But he wasn't the first nor last supposed Jewish Messiah.

In 2000 years maybe Scientology will have billions of followeers and Christianity will have a die-hard following like Judaism does today. And Judaism will have gone the way of the Egyptian Pharaoh religions.

not relevant. appeal to the masses argument

Appeal to Common Belief
argumentum ad populum

(also known as: appeal to accepted belief, groupthink, appeal to widespread belief, appeal to the masses, appeal to belief, appeal to the majority, argument by consensus, consensus fallacy, authority of the many, bandwagon fallacy, argumentum ad numerum, appeal to the number, argumentum consensus gentium, appeal to the mob, appeal to the gallery, mob appeal, social conformance, value of community)

Description: When the claim that most or many people in general or of a particular group accept a belief as true is presented as evidence for the claim. Accepting another person’s belief, or many people’s beliefs, without demanding evidence as to why that person accepts the belief, is lazy thinking and a dangerous way to accept information.

Logical Form:

A lot of people believe X.

Therefore, X must be true.

Example #1:

Up until the late 16th century, most people believed that the earth was the center of the universe. This, of course, is not true.

Explanation: The geocentric model was observation (limited) and faith based, but most who accepted the model did so based on the common and accepted belief of the time, not on their own observations, calculations, and or reasoning. It was people like Copernicus, Galileo and Kepler, who refused to appeal to the common belief and uncovered a truth not obvious to the rest of humanity.

Example #2:

How could you not believe in virgin births? Roughly two billion people believe in them, don’t you think you should reconsider your position?

Explanation: Anyone who believes in virgin births does not have empirical evidence for his or her belief. This is a claim accepted on faith, which is an individual and subjective form of accepting information, that should not have any effect on your beliefs. Don’t forget that there was a time that the common beliefs included a flat earth, earth-centered universe, and demon-possession as the cause of most illness.

Exception: Sometimes there are good reasons to think that the common belief is held by people who do have good evidence for believing. For example, if virtually all of earth scientists accept that the universe is approximately 13.7 billion years old, it is wise to believe them because they will be able to present objective and empirical evidence as to why they believe.

Tip: History has show that those who break away from the common beliefs are the ones who change the course of history. Be a leader, not a follower.

Millions of people have traced their ancestry to the Islamic prophet Mohammed. None can say the same of Jesus. Even Joeseph Smith has living descendents. No one claims to be related to Jesus though.

No body. No DNA. No remains. No tomb. No descendents = Didn't exist.

Using that "logic" Hitler didn't exist either, Boy Wonder

the drought is real the existence of Jesus is questionable.

Not surprisingly your ignorance is making you mess up. Hitler has living descendents right here in the USA.

there is no empirical evidence of any kind for Jesus ...
thanks frank!

Catchy. Reminds me of some guy on one of the Alaska reality shows who says on the trailer, "Living's the only thing worth dying for." :)
