Israeli soldiers shooting Palistinian children for fun

"An Israeli army officer who repeatedly shot a 13-year-old Palestinian girl in Gaza dismissed a warning from another soldier that she was a child by saying he would have killed her even if she was three years old.
The officer, identified by the army only as Captain R, was charged this week with illegal use of his weapon, conduct unbecoming an officer and other relatively minor infractions after emptying all 10 bullets from his gun's magazine into Iman al-Hams when she walked into a "security area" on the edge of Rafah refugee camp last month."

Totally not related to this thread, topic, nor discussion to bring up something that happened ten frigging years ago!!

What? Israelis shooting Palestinian children 10 years ago doesn't count? I think her parents think it counts.

How about a few months ago?

"The Israeli occupation army shot dead today (Sunday, 10 August 2014) the boy Khalil Al-‘Anati in the Al-Fawar refugee camp in Al-Khalil (Hebron).
According to the family’s testimony, the eleven year old was standing at the door of his house when he was shot. He was brought by volunteers to the Al-Ahli hospital, still bleeding, but the doctors could not save his life. According to the doctors, as reported in the press, the bullet entered through his back and went out through his stomach…"

Behind The IDF Killing Of A 10-year-old Boy

It's not clear why an Israeli soldier shot Khalil Anati in the Al-Fawar refugee camp. What is clear is that the shooter didn't stay around long enough to offer assistance, or to watch the boy die.

You supporters of Zionist terrorism are just as bad as the supporters of Islamic terrorism.

I am not begrudging all your posts of those other killings. And I am not happy with any death. On either side.

However, IMHO, you have done just what any other Pro-Pali (or pro-Israeli) does here. Deflect a thread from the actual topic to bring up other things/incidents not related to the actual subject of the thread.

And kudos to you for throwing in a good old name calling as well.

It is clearly a boy or young man who is being shot.
Teens can be tall these days, but no one past 19 is that thin.

What he was shot with? I don't know.
Should he have been shot? No. The soldiers were committing a crime. In the big scheme, if it was with a non-lethal round, not the biggest crime, and quite routine for the OT. Which doesn't make it right, just routinely savage.

Dont be so gullible.. Actually READ THE LINK above thar debunks this propaganda. Post #7.. The "discharge" papers from a Gaza hospital are IN ENGLISH, for the benefit of all those westerns dupes hungry for this type of fiction. There is really nothing left to this OP. /Subscribe

I did.
In particular:
"Compressed sand. In 2005, Israel developed bullets made of compressed sand, which they use as nonlethal rounds. I spent hours looking at Israeli Palestinian human rights Websites, trying to find the answer to why an IDF sniper would shoot a rock thrower in full view of hostile cameramen, and not one of these blubbering, whining, dishonest, self-loathing organizations had the integrity to list the sand bullet as part of the Israeli arsenal."

Hence my comment:
"What he was shot with? I don't know."

The English discharge papers prove nothing either way. Do foreign workers work in Gaza? Yes. Do they all write arabic? No.
Could such a document be faked by either side? Easily. Could it be real. Yes.

The point is, the soldiers are committing a crime. Whether that is potentially lethal assault or just assault may be in question. But my response is far from gullible.

I suggest you examine your reasons for wanting it to be so.

8211 Video Shows IDF Snipers Shooting Palestinian Children For Fun But Facebook Won 8217 t Let You Share It

Footage released on YouTube clearly shows Israeli soldiers firing live rounds at Palestinian children playing on a roof in Al Khalil, an area of Hebron in Occupied Palestine. An important piece of evidence attesting to the brutality of Israeli occupation. Yet, Facebook users have reported that the social media platform is preventing them from sharing the video.

Four soldiers lay on their chests on a rooftop. In the same shot, we see what appear to be two Palestinian children playing on a rooftop. One of the soldiers takes aim and shoots one of the Palestinians on the roof, clearly hitting him in the thigh.

The soldiers then celebrate. One imitates the flailing actions of the wounded Palestinian, while others shake the hand of the ‘successful’ sniper.

Video at the link.

Not a weapon in site, but I did see a periscope used to gather intelligence

Then any police force that uses non lethal methods must also be committing a crime. Which means the British police methods of restraint of suspects is also a crime. Have you informed HM government that it is employing criminals and we should release all murderers, rapists, thugs etc. because it is a crime to use any force to restrain them.

Maybe the Jews should just dig a mass grave and stand along its edge waiting for you to come along and execute them for being Jews.

It's disappointing that discussions in this Israel and Palestine Forum are dominated by so much misinformation by both sides. The amount of propoganda being used by both Israeli and Palestinian supporters overall is concerning to anyone who genuinely wishes to discuss the conflict in a reasonable and productive manner.

The reality is that you can't believe everything you see/read and you must make your own enquiries into the information provided by searching all available sources. The truth is often not what may first appear. Always watch youtube videos in full screen so you get the complete picture.

This particular video is an example of that. Anyone who cares for the full story (which is quite different to what has been originally presented) can find it here and come to your own conclusions.

Once again a anti Muslim site. I could not read the Dr. letter, totally blurred , even when blown up. Strang when everything else was clear but not that. Now I have read in Israel 's papers that IDF who have used real billets , yes do get investigated by nothing ever comes of it. When he was on top of the roof and ran it looked like he was dragging his right leg to me.

It is never a pro truth site with you ISLAMONAZI PROPAGANDISTS is it. The truth was shown and you don't like it because it shows the Palestinians for what they are. A non lethal round fired to disperse a gang of thugs attempting murder.

If you weren't so biased, you would see that he those teenagers, not kids, were throwing rocks and debris at people below.

Yep

So you do see that it was adults in the eyes of Palestinian law engaging in terrorist activities that means they can be shot dead under International law. Now why didn't the Israelis go for the head and splatter his brains all over the place ?

AND !!!!! your point being what exactly, that an IDF officer faces life in prison because he shot a Palestinian girl while the balance of his mind was disturbed. What happens to Palestinian terrorists when they repeatedly shoot Israeli children, they get sent on a 3 year holiday to a casino on a pension.

Then you are saying that all police actions are criminal and we should do away with the police

I want to know who was holding the camera and why?? its wasn't the boys, so it had to be the guy on the non Palestine webpage, just to set it up.

I see it as 4 men playing snipers and congratulating themselves.

Thank you, I found that too.

So many fake videos. Written, staged, acted, directed and produced with less skill that a junior high student for a class project.
There was real tragedy but these types of videos diminish the believability of the reality.
Pallywood is not helping their cause. They are turning it into a joke.

Thomas Wictor seems to have a passion for debunking these videos, which is fine as most of them are provided without context or backround by both the IDF and it's supporters and Palestinians and their supporters so the more they are debunked, the merrier. I've looked at this video and also Wictor's blog about it and find myself partly in agreement with him.

The two youths on the building, one is clearly using a sling, but is shooting at a distance not downwards, the other is definitely throwing something from left to right as opposed to dropping or throwing something downwards. With access to the wider photograph provided by Mr Wictor, it is possible that the "target" of the Palestinian youths was what looks like the screened bunker on the roof of the building on the far right of the photo.

However from there we diverge in our assessments. The youth was hit in the right leg and it is quite possble he was hit in the calf, Mr Wictor makes assumptions regarding the relative heights of the buildings and the youth's actions that do not bear up under objective scrutiny.

He has no way of determining their relative heights of the two buildings from the video. However he later publishes a photo he managed to acquire (I wonder from where?) Which show the relative positions of the Zionist snipers and their targets:

Hebron_City-1.jpg

Which seems to support my assertion that the snipers were at a higher elevation than the youths.

I have an issue with "sand bullets" that he cites; I'm unclear how a compacted sand bullet can withstand the gas pressures within a rifle barrel only to disintegrate harmlessly (although apparently painfully) on impact with flesh. The only way something like that could work is if the bullet was encased in a disintigrating "sabot"; perhaps someone intimately familiar with the weapon could enlighten me?

I'm also curious how he knows the target was 18 years old? As far as I can see the youth is running away from the direction of the shot and favouring his right leg, Mr Wictor states the youth was facing the camera and favouring his left leg. This is contradicted in part by the Idf sniper team in the video when the prone soldier mimics the actions of the youth favouring his right leg. Ultimately this is too unclear to make a positive determination one way or the other.

Finally the IDf steps in to clarify matters, "An IDF spokesperson told The Times of Israel that the soldiers opened fire because the Palestinian was attacking other troops with a Molotov cocktail.

“In the video in question a Palestinian is seen throwing a Molotov cocktail towards IDF forces that were on the ground,” the spokesperson said..."

http://www.timesofisrael.com/soldiers-rapped-for-celebrating-after-shooting-palestinian/

I'm sorry...molotov cocktail? Where did that come from? One or perhaps both youths may have been using slings, but try as I might, I for one can't see a flaming petrol-filled bottle in that video.
