Israel tells the US to Go Fxxx Itself, again.

How many border crossing were there that did not have to go through Israel?

if you must know - since every border the new state would be with israel alone (with the exception of rafah, which today is controlled by egypt and hamas), they would be controlled by israel and the PA. still - arafat preferred the second intifada.

What about that long border with Jordan?

Barak's final offer stipulated that "the palestinian border would run along the river jordan".

The Allenby Bridge was never mentioned specifically, mainly because the, at least not officially. The whole Summit revolved around 3 main axes: right of return, jerusalem, and the west bank territories. arafat refused barak's offer before the details could be hashed out.

Jordan was earmarked for the Jewish homeland in the original Palestine Mandate, dummy.

Except, the US does recognize Jerusalem as the capital, dopey.

House Resolution Expressing Support for Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital

Whereas the State of Israel has declared Jerusalem to be its capital;

Whereas from 1948 to 1967 Jerusalem was a divided city and Israeli citizens of all faiths were not permitted access to holy sites in the area controlled by Jordan;

Whereas since 1967 Jerusalem has been a united city administered by Israel and persons of all religious faiths have been guaranteed full access to holy sites within the city; Whereas the President and the Secretary of State have demonstrated their strong desire to achieve a just and lasting peace in the Middle East and have worked diligently toward that end;

Whereas ambiguous statements by the Government of the United States concerning the right of Jews to live in all parts of Jerusalem raise concerns in Israel that Jerusalem might one day be redivided and access to religious sites in Jerusalem denied to Israeli citizens; and the search for a lasting peace in the region: Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That the Congress

(1) acknowledges that Jerusalem is and should remain the capital of the State of Israel;

(2) strongly believes that Jerusalem must remain an undivided city in which the rights of every ethnic religious group are protected; and

(3) calls upon all parties involved in the search for peace to maintain
their strong efforts to bring about negotiations between Israel and
Palestinian representatives.

Marc39, actions speak louder than words, the US Embassy is located in Tel Aviv, not Jerusalem, Jerusalem is where all government business is carried out

How long will the United States appease the Sunnis by not moving our Embassy to the capital of Israel.

Its a simple matter of who controls our Foriegn policy, the people or the corporations.

Unless you can post something to the contrary, the Jordan Valley was to be under Israeli control. Israel was to control imports, exports, and travel in the Palestinian buntastan.

The Congressional resolution meant little, per item (3) above. The US has no authority to FORCE this issue based upon a simple resolution. Here is a clear and concise history of the position of the United States on the issue:

The Congressional resolution means a great deal in acknowledging the historical and legal connection between Jerusalem and the Jewish People.

You already said that why repeat it?

Political expediency means nothing to me nor to anyone else. The USA's policy regarding our embassy represents everything that is wrong in the USA, you quote what the politicians do all you want but that does nothing to clarify what is reality.

Political expediency meant something to the State Department in choosing to relocate the US embassy from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv. However, the US Congress declared Jerusalem the historical capital of the Jewish People.

Indeed, Jerusalem is the historical capital of the Jewish People.

The US does not determine what the capital of any country is. You keep repeating what congress ponitficated and made "law", big deal, it is wrong for the USA to keep its embassy in Tel Aviv.

I think you are a bit lost as to what you are talking about and thats why you keep re-wording your statement.

Your statement reads as if the embassy was in Jerusalem, as far as my research shows this is not true, the USA embassy has always been in Tel Aviv.

Action speaks louder than words and the US Congresses policy is dangerously duplicitious.

Jews determined that Jerusalem is its capital. The US Congress acknowledged that designation.

You're so lost, Magellan couldn't help you find your way.

Actually you the one who is lost, I have never disagreed with your statement, I know the history and the politics of Israel. For some stupid reason you fail to grasp that Congress can pass all the laws it wants but laws mean nothing in the face of in-action.

You stated that the embassy was moved from Jerusalem

Political expediency meant something to the State Department in choosing to relocate the US embassy from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv

Which year was the US Embassy "relocated".

I have consistently stated that the USA's embassy should be in the capital of Israel.

In response you keep refering to congress, seriously, you are making no point and sound lost. If you really wish to know and understand the situation in Israel you should start by acknowleding you could learn something by listening to what others have added to the discussion.

Few here add anything. You are not one of them.

Yeah shame on Israel for wanting to build in its own territory.
Biden is an ass clown.

:clap2:

In America, it is called racism if you don't allow a Jew to build on a piece of land but in the Jews own homeland, it is a crime if they do.:cuckoo:

What was that? It's difficult to understand you when you're fellating Pastor Hagee.

Given Muhammad's perverted life, do you really want to go there?

Thanks, if you read your comment you are stating I am not one of those who adds nothing to the discussion.

It is pretty moronic of Marc39 to write the same thing four times in different ways while completely ignoring the implications of not having the USA embassy in the capital of Israel.

We get that congress passed a law or resolution, big deal, its the actions and implications of those actions that have a negative effect on our foriegn policy.
